Amazing wedding experience!

We toured this museum and met with Courtney, the venue coordinator, in March. We decided to book it for our wedding we originally planned to hold in June. When the COVID pandemic hit, we had to postpone. Courtney and the Currier staff were super helpful and patient during this unsettling time. Once things started opening back up, we moved forward with a new date in October, as we really wanted to have our wedding during a special exhibit. They were super flexible about our ever-changing event and working with us when our guest list shrunk almost by half. ALL of the staff during the event were amazing and super nice and helpful. Everyone worked with us to host a safe and socially distanced event. We had the best wedding and I am so happy we chose the Currier! Hopefully we can revisit each year to remember the experience. We can't recommend this venue enough!

Beautiful Venue with Expert Wedding Planner

We are so glad that we chose the Currier for our wedding ceremony and reception. Corinne is great to work with and helped keep us on track throughout the whole process, right up until the wedding day. It was such a wonderful day and our guests were very wowed by the space.

Our daughter's wedding reception at the Currier Museum of Art was elegant, distinctive, and fun. Our guests from inside and outside of NH are still talking about what a gorgeous location it was. Our daughter and son-in-law wanted to make their reception creative, comfortable, and interesting. Lisa helped them to shape their vision and make it come to life. The areas for the cocktail reception, photographs, dinner, and dancing were beautiful and comfortable, fostering conversations and a great celebration. We were thrilled with the evening!

We sincerely thank Lisa and the staff at the Currier Museum of Art for the incredibly beautiful experience we had at the Currier for our August 5, 2016 wedding reception. The Currier was elegantly arranged with unbelievably lovely details. We could not have imagined anything as perfect as it was! This is such a special venue, and an experience that we and our guests will never forget! The decorations, architectural elements and galleries were unbelievably gorgeous. Lisa thoughtfully arranged our decorations with an artistic eye, placing our seating display on a beautiful tabletop easel, and hanging our heart ornament favors on a tree. The display of our favors, seating chart, photos, cake, and guest book post cards were like an exhibit themselves, just inspiring!! She made a point to check in throughout the night, offering the help bustle my gown or see if I needed something to drink, and the very friendly and professional staff helped us navigate the galleries with our photographer to capture amazing photographs!! Many guests have stated that they have never attended as special of a wedding venue, and just being in the space, and exploring the art before the reception was an experience and memory that they will cherish. My husband and I are also looking forward to revisiting the museum for future anniversaries: it is so special that we can return to the location of our wedding reception and remember the lovely evening and enjoy the cultural experience of the incredible art on display!

If you are considering the Currier Museum as a possible venue for your wedding, consider no further! Call Lisa Pavlopulos, Event Coordinator, and place yourself in her thoroughly capable hands. From the first phone call of inquiry until the time the last guests and vendors left, everything was taken care of to our specifications, with grace and certitude. Lisa’s is an iron hand in a velvet glove and her mastery of all contingencies allowed us to relax and enjoy a beautiful and meaningful evening. Her recommendations provided us vendors who were experienced and knowledgable as well and she was, magically, everywhere she needed to be at just the right moment(s). The space is both elegant and casual with an impressive collection of art. The setting and the art allowed the floral requirements to be affordable, since who can compete with Impressionists and Dutch Masters? The kitchen and other facilities are ready for the caterer and allow service to occur with apparent ease. Parking is easy and free. There is nothing this staff and the space cannot deliver to make for the perfect wedding!

Picking our venue was our biggest decision. My husband and I are so thankful we chose the Currier Museum for our special day. As soon as we walked into the "Historic court" we knew this was "us"... The space is simply timeless... After our ceremony we had a cocktail style reception in the Winter Garden that was truly beautiful... Lisa (event coordinator) was fabulous!!! Lisa thank you for making our wedding truly unforgettable... All the best~ Tim and Nicolle

Lisa at the Currier helped to make our wedding a dream. Somehow she managed all the various vendors involved with the wedding like a master conductor and I didn't have to worry about anything on the day of. She also recommended a great wedding dress tailor to me! The Currier is an amazing site for a wedding!

The Currier Museum of Art was a perfect setting for our wedding! Our day was absolutely perfect! We wanted something unique and fabulous and made for a memorable wedding day and the Currier was just that. They only host one wedding at a time so essentially you take over the museum for total privacy. We liked having the flexibility to chose our own Caterer, Vendors, and Rental Items from their approved list. We were also able to take some amazing pictures in the museum. Lisa our onsite contact was dream to work with! From our initial meeting and throughout the process I felt calm and confident working with her. She thoughtfully went out of her way on several occasions to make sure we were taken care of. Our wedding ceremony and reception was flawless, my guests are still commenting on how well thought out the night was and how perfect the Museum was! I highly recommend the Currier Museum for weddings and events!
