Cureton Photography is a wedding photography studio based in Greenville, South Carolina. John and Anne, the owners and photographers, are a husband-and-wife duo who specialize in creative wedding photography. They capture candid moments by incorporating fine arts and photojournalistic approaches, with contemporary and classic styles of photography. In order to achieve flexibility and matche any wedding themes such as rustic, traditional, and modern, they incorporate other styles of photography, from natural and traditional to contemporary and film.

Experience
Cureton Photography has been part of the photography industry for over 10 years and served as a wedding photography company for more than six years. Anna worked for the local newspaper as a writer and editor, as well as designing and photographing local events. John, an experienced person in the wedding industry, was a wedding DJ and web designer before choosing photography. He is a talented music photographer who has shot many musical artists like Snoop Dogg, Charlie Daniels, and more.

Amazing Photography Team

John and Anne were an amazing team to work with! From our first phone call with John, I knew that my husband and I would be comfortable around them in front of a camera. We had absolutely gorgeous shots during our engagement shoot, and we are anxiously awaiting our wedding photos, but we know they will turn out great. They were so easy to work with and made sure to capture every detail of our wedding. Highly recommend working with this team!

Amazing work!

John was amazing. His work is unreal! He makes you feel comfortable and at ease. The pictures he captures are so unique and absolutely beautiful! I love how he uses natural elements while making them more vivid and stunning! Him and his wife are so professional, so nice, and just all around one of my favorite vendors!

Summer Wedding 2019

The entire experience with John was such an amazing one! From all the planning, engagement photos...to the BIG day, he made us feel so comfortable and we had fun! That is saying a lot because we as a couple do not like photos, we are not very photogenic but he made us look amazing! He was professional, kind and has amazing talent! I would recommend him to all of my friends! AMAZING WORK!

JOHN + ANNE made our wedding day shine

I don't generally go out of my way to leave reviews, but just had to after John & Anne totally went above and beyond. From the initial quote request, John sent us a personalized video made specifically for us along with a walkthrough of the different offerings he had. From this point on, John was super responsive (email, text, calls) and set all of our concerns at ease. John even provided us some candid feedback on other details of our special day. The engagement photos came out great. And during the day of our wedding, John & Anne were very proactive in making sure things happened and that the best shots were taken. He coordinated with the DJ to adjust the schedule of events to make sure that shots were captured during the Greenville Drive fireworks display (once in a lifetime shot!). Give him a follow on Instagram, you won't be disappointed with what you see. One other important item of mention: we really developed a friendship with John & Anne, and were really able to be ourselves. Some other photographers we met with had a wide array of photographers working under the parent company, and you weren't sure who you'd be shooting with. This is not the case with Cureton Photography. They also did not hesitate to incorporate our three dogs into our engagement shots - this would likely be quite the challenge for some.

Awesome awesome awesome!

We loved this duo! From beginning to end we were so glad we chose Cureton Photography. They were so warm, genuine, professional, and reasonable. John was absolutely awesome every step of the way. He drove up to my venue in NC and arrived early. I had had some ideas of where I wanted certain key pictures (first look, bridal party photos) to take place, however, it unexpectedly snowed 7inches the week before my wedding, which made getting to those locations very difficult in my heels and long dress prior to the ceremony. John and his wife scoped out the venue and found absolutely perfect places for my pictures to take place. He is so laid back and fun to work with. All of my family and friends commented on him both during the wedding and after. And the pictures are PHENOMENAL. He is so receptive to suggestions and requests, and has great experience to add his own touch to everything. I wouldn't have done a single thing differently, and I plan to use him for family photos for many years to come!

John and Ann were the most fabulous photographers to work with throughout our wedding experience. They were always so flexible, patient, and knew how to make us feel comfortable and beautiful in our photos. John was so easy to work with for my engagement photos which turned out amazing!!! They also took photos for our rehearsal dinner and did an excellent job capturing the fun of that night, the wedding ceremony, and the reception. Would 100% recommend for anyone who wants a professional photographer would is going to do a great job!

John and Anne are an unbelievable team. From the moment we met for our gorgeous engagement shoot, they made us feel relaxed and natural. John has a huge talent in getting the perfect lighting and Anne was so helpful in fixing my hair and clothing for each shot so I felt beautiful and comfortable! John was very clear in all his correspondence before the wedding and they arrived early on the day and were really careful about giving us all space without missing any important moments. We had a LONG day with two ceremonies but they planned perfectly and grabbed us throughout the day for private shots and just a few minutes of downtime to ourselves when no one noticed we were gone & we had the benefit of having lovely couple photographs in different light as it changed. The party shots were some of my faves and have been shared a huge amount on Facebook! Such gorgeous light and energy. Thank you so much John and Anne! We will treasure the photos for ever!
