Crystal is truly amazing at her work!! Her attention to detail is unparalleled! She ensured that my hair and makeup were exactly as I had dreamed for my wedding! She was very responsive to my thoughts and fine tuned the details to ensure it was absolutely perfect! I’ve worked with her on numerous occasions and will never not recommend her! Her talent is unmatched!

I found Crystal at a wedding convention and she offered to do a trial with me and we scheduled it for a later date. I then went for the trial and loved the look she came up with me. We made a plan and layout for services for the wedding. About two weeks before the wedding, she went over the necessary space needed and a schedule. She also made sure everybody else that wanted services sent her pictures for her and her assistants to use. On the day of the wedding, her assistants showed up a little earlier than her to work on the others and then she showed up to work only on me. They look turned out great and lasted all night.

Crystal was fantastic! I highly recommend her for any all of your wedding beauty needs. I hired Crystal as my makeup artist for me and my bridesmaids. She was very attentive and listened to my feedback during my trial. I was afraid of having a look in which I was wearing too much makeup (since I’m not the type of person to wear makeup) but I felt like she gave me the perfect look. I had a look that leaned towards the natural side of makeup versus the heavy side of makeup, but it also was not too natural.

She (and my hair stylist) made all of us feel so relaxed, happy, and beautiful on my special day, which was especially important since we had our legal/smaller wedding in the middle of a pandemic (10.10.2020).

I also elected to keep her longer for touch ups and she was ready and willing to fix any makeup blemishes on me and my bridesmaids prior to the ceremony, prior to posed pictures, & prior to the small dinner/reception.

She was and is a true Renaissance Woman because she also assisted with various other tasks (veil, photo assisting, hair touch up to change to tiara for reception, etc.).

My husband and I are planning to have another wedding to include all/most of our originally intended guests and I would not hesitate to contact her again for her availability (assuming she would be willing to travel back to the DC area). Because I couldn’t imagine a better artist for my post-pandemic bridal needs!

I met Crystal as a bridesmaid and was immediately impressed by how much she knew about the products she was using, and how thoughtful she was when putting our makeup on. I had been a bridesmaid in two other weddings earlier that year and the makeup artists did not spend as much time per girl or really evaluate or ask questions as they went -- as someone who owns very little makeup (and wears it even less), I appreciated that Crystal would check in to make sure I liked what she was doing. I hired her to do my engagement shoot, and shortly after booked her for my wedding. During my trial, I had selected a makeup style way out of my normal box, and she nailed it to a T. When I emailed her a week later saying I think I went a little bit too far out of my box, she reassured me that we would work together the day of to find something more natural -- and we did. I absolutely loved my makeup for my wedding, and a handful of my bridesmaids commented that they liked their makeup better for my wedding than they did at their OWN weddings. Not only did she crush everyone's makeup, but she was also super patient with both of my grandmothers (who never wear makeup) and my 2.5-year-old niece who took an interest in her immediately. Kudos to Crystal -- she did an amazing job and I will continue to sing her praises to any bride who asks.

I am not a make-up person, I basically do the bare minimum to make sure I don't look like a zombie at work. But for our wedding day, I wanted to make sure that I looked perfect in wedding photos. Crystal made me feel beautiful for the big day without making me feel out of my comfort zone. My hair and make-up were just perfect, fit perfectly with my dress and the day, I am so glad that she worked on me and my bridal crew.
