I have to say that Courtney was responsible for making our elopement as beautiful and memorable as it was. When starting to plan, my fiancé and I had no idea what to expect until meeting with Courtney for the first time. She was available to zoom and message for months, supporting our decision to elope and offering multiple suggestions for locations and timelines for the day. We knew we wanted to go to Glacier but had no idea where to plan to go. Courtney spent time going over the map of the park, educating us on the weather, the roads, and making sure to add things throughout our day that were special to us including a beautiful picnic spot and a private place for our vows. On our wedding day, she knew exactly where to go, where the best views were, and how to make us both feel so comfortable being photographed. She was so sweet and supportive when we experienced challenges with our traveling and I truly mean it when I say, I cannot imagine having a more beautiful memory to have and share forever without her there with us.

When we first got engaged we immediately decided to elope in Montana. Since we’re both from Virginia and have never been out there, we had no clue where to start with planning. We found courtney and quickly decided she would be the perfect person to add to our wedding day and we were not disappointed. She helped us pin down where exactly in montana (specifically Glacier) we’d have our ceremony and spend our wedding day. She was so helpful with a thorough list of places to choose from and even set up a call with us to talk us through what we were envisioning. Courtney made it so easy we almost questioned if we were forgetting things. On top of that, she had multiple lists of vendor recommendations for us as we finalized the last few details. As we got closer to our wedding date and Glacier was under fire bans due to smoke and possibility of wildfire, we were definitely nervous but she was extremely reassuring. she suggested alternative plans to navigate the fire ban and even day of she had backup plans in case we wanted to tweak the original plan. We’re so glad she did because we quickly took her up on those suggestions. Courtney is such an easy going and thoughtful person, she felt like the perfect addition to our wedding day. We would definitely recommend Courtney to anyone, we’re so glad we worked with her and would absolutely do it again!

I have to start by saying that Courtney truly captured the details and spontaneity of our wedding adventure. She made the process so incredibly easy and definitely played a huge role in reducing the anticipated wedding kerfuffle. Jimmy and I knew early on that we wanted to do an elopement adventure because we wanted to focus on celebrating our love for each other and avoid letting all of the planning details, guest opinions…party favors, food, speeches, toasts, etc…subtract from the primary focus of a wedding – the bride and the groom. Our wedding date and guest list plans changed a few times…because there’s always got to be a little bit of wedding drama…and Courtney was incredibly accommodating from the start. I found Courtney’s website almost two years in advance while starting the research process to determine what all we needed to do. Upon reading EVERYTHING on her website, I found this little gem "I solemnly swear I am up to no good” ​​under the “meet me” section of the website and was captivated. Jimmy was reading over my shoulder and said that she was the best fit for us.


We emailed her and the process was so seamless. She provided a DETAILED AND BEAUTIFUL wedding guide about what to consider when planning our special day. I value someone who’s thorough and clear, especially when it comes to such an important event, and Courtney truly goes above and beyond. Once we answered a questionnaire, she was able to propose how to best tackle everything we wanted on our wedding day, including the destination, order of events, stunning waterfall and mountain hike, as well as, s'mores around a campfire and lightsaber duel to wind down the evening. I wasn’t sure where to start concerning wedding flowers, hair, or makeup. And here comes Courtney to save the day. She was ready to help me with whatever planning details we needed assistance with. As we didn’t live on the west coast, we needed recommendations for local florists and hairstylists, which she readily provided.


Now let's jump to the final result. The photos have exceeded my expectations, not only based on the sheer volume for us to peruse, but I honestly cannot believe we have such a variety of backdrops, closeups, and facial expressions to enjoy. I've seen so many wedding photo albums that seemed stiff but THESE ARE MAGICAL!


Courtney Lynn’s photos are incredible to say the least. My husband and I are unable to pick our favorite one because there are so many that we love. Jimmy really loves the ones with us running up and down the road. And I'm captivated by the walks through the woods, kisses in front of the lake and mountains, Jimmy getting ready before the ceremony, smore's time, the lightsaber duel...all the rest...

Best elopement photographer, ever!! Courtney went above and beyond throughout our whole experience with her. My now-husband and I didn't know where to start when we decided to elope, and came across Courtney's site while we were searching for photographers. We were initially interested in meeting with her after being blown away by the gorgeous photos she had on her site, but then after we read more about her and her passion for helping clients throughout the whole planning process, we were sold. Our first meeting with her eased all of our anxieties about not knowing where to start, and she helped us choose the perfect location with a timeline that completely fit our personalities and dreams for what became one of the best days of our lives. She was always so prompt and professional in answering our questions as the date got closer, and when it finally arrived, she helped us have a completely seamless elopement experience. Courtney made us feel comfortable taking our photos in general, and nothing ever felt posed or forced. She helped us follow the timeline we had planned together, so that we could stay focused on enjoying the day, and she even gave us a pep talk before our vows to help us relax and stay focused in the moment. Courtney’s work and dedication to her couples starts months prior to the event. She worked closely with us prior to our elopement to help narrow down location, accommodation and hiking recommendations which were slightly more limited with an infant. She helped tailor our small ceremony with finding an officiant and orchestrating our marriage license on short notice. She even created our timeline to accommodate all of our goals for the day. On the day of our elopement she was punctual and professional - she felt part of the family right from the beginning. She suggested positions to capture some of the most stunning scenery and surroundings. The sneak peak was perfectly stunning and the professional album was more than we could have ever asked for. When we first started planning our wedding, the only thing we had was a rough idea of a Glacier National Park wedding with limited people. Courtney filled in all our gaps and answered any of our questions about the process, providing us lists of options for locations, activities, and supporting our changing plans as we involved more of our family in the process. This ultimately expanded our 1-day wedding into a 2-day overnight camping trip at Two Medicine Lake. Other photographers may not be as familiar with the elopement process for National Parks, but Courtney was on top of all the requirements and permits necessary to make our special day go off without a hitch.

The day(s) of the wedding, Courtney was on the ball 24/7 and fully attentive to making our day special. Along the drive through Going to the Sun Road, Courtney was extremely knowledgeable about the best locations for views, photos, and a short hike with just ourselves to escape our wedding party for a short period during the day. Our day was simply one-of-a-kind, and we owe a lot of it to Courtney and the planning process that led up to the day itself.
