Kelli Carrico is the best of the best when it comes to wedding photography. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Kelli and her husband, Tim, for our wedding in October 2024. I booked with Kelli in late 2022 shortly after we got engaged. I found her through a recommended vendor list that our venue manager provided to us. I stopped in my tracks when I landed on Kelli's page as I went through the preferred vendor list. When I found her website and galleries, I was blown away by her talent and style. I also quickly realized that I had actually seen some photos of hers several years before because a friend had sent me pictures of a wedding she saw online that she thought was "just so my style." Remembering those photos that I thought were so gorgeous years ago, I thought, "That's HER!" as I scrolled through her more recent work. As a "more is more" kind of bride with high expectations and a desire for a seasoned photographer with expertise in fine art + timeless photography, I reached out to Kelli. Her bubbly, fun personality combined with her competence and confidence quickly put me at ease and make me feel certain that I had found my perfect match to give me the luxury experience that I wanted and the photos of my dreams that I craved.

Kelli and I chatted frequently throughout our engagement, and I ended up thinking of her as a friend just as much as I thought of her as my wedding photographer. She even helped us source another photographer during a challenging situation. We had scheduled our engagement photo shoot with Kelli to take place about a year before our wedding at peak fall foliage time. It was important to us to take our engagement photos in the mountains in autumn because we wanted to provide our guests a little sneak peek of what to expect for the vibe of our upcoming wedding by using some of our engagement photos on our Save the Dates. Unfortunately, my husband ended up falling ill when we were supposed to have the photos taken. We weren't able to get a replacement date with Kelli because she was already fully booked for the fall season. Because she knew this was so important to us, she suggested that we work with a photographer she had personally mentored. She put us in contact with each other, and as soon as my husband was better, we were able to get beautiful engagement photos that were exactly what we wanted thanks to Kelli's connections and her problem-solving nature.

The wedding day with Kelli and Tim was wonderful. Even though we hadn't met in person before, it felt like having an old friend in the room. We had a perfect day capturing the most precious moments, from getting ready, to the long-awaited ceremony, to the stunning newlywed photos during the most vivid golden hour and sunset, to an absolute rager reception. Each and every one of our photos just drips with emotion that I can see AND feel. Our photos bring us right back to the best day of our lives. It is so emotional looking at them in the best of ways. We just received our beautiful leatherbound album a few days ago as well, and it is already a very treasured keepsake. We enjoyed working with Kelli so much that we already made plans to do an anniversary photo shoot with her this upcoming fall. We can't wait to work with her again and can't thank her enough for doing such a beautiful job.

Kelli blew past our expectations (after day one when we've only seen a few preview photos)! First, prior to meeting, she was professional, organized, and has a great website to get a feel for her work / style. Second, she brought a sense of calmness and happiness to the event while she was shooting. She's such a lovely person and knows weddings inside and out. She was prepared with equipment and actually fixed my veil because it was in backwards. I was happy to have her around me on our special day! Third, we are blown away by the preview shots we've seen. She's a star! And she got the previews to us the next day. Not to mention, the second shooter was fantastic and he agreed to do this on his birthday. You will certainly not be disappointed if you choose Kelli Carrico photography!

Kelli and Tim did our photos for our wedding and they knocked it out of the park! They make you feel very comfortable and are able to capture awesome posed and candid shots. She had sooooo many photos and so many of the reception that we were thrilled to see! They captured so much of the day/ reception that we had missed out on too. She gave us the sneak peak right after the wedding which was super exciting. And the photos themselves are STUNNING!!!! Thank you Kelli and Tim!

Kelli is absolutely phenomenal!!! My husband, Glen, and I were married on October 11, 2019 and the photos are perfection! Kelli IS the best in the business and puts her heart and soul into her work. After meeting her, we had no doubts that we were in the right hands. Glen and I would both call ourselves camera shy; but Kelli had no issues putting us at ease with her quirks, laughs, happy dances, and all around personality. We were so lucky to have her photograph our engagement session and wedding ❤ Her eye is immaculate and talent is beyond measure, she's simply exceptional and this comes through in her work. I would've never dreamed of having the wedding pictures she produced!! Completely blown away! She delivers everything you could possibly want, and then some. We especially loved the sneak peeks we got after the wedding. She's a true professional that connects with her brides and grooms on a personal level, which was so important for us. She and Tim made our wedding day easy and stress free.. worth GOLD. We would choose Kelli all over again and 10/10 recommend!

I would recommend Kelli and Tim to anyone ! They go above and beyond to make sure they get the perfect pictures. We had our wedding in a backyard and one of things everyone was concerned about was the background for photos. You can imagine the relief I felt when Kelli walked in and the first thing she said was “I found my spot” ! Lol they were seriously incredible the entire time, beginning to end, especially with all the little kids !! She even walked us through how to do the cake cutting part of the ceremony because we had no idea how, all while taking the photos at the same time ! They were not only there to take photos but they were there for us and I think it’s important that you feel comfortable around someone whose going to be beside you all day. We definitely did! They make the perfect team to have on your wedding day and the pictures prove it !

Rahul and I got married on May 4, 2019, and could not be happier with Kelli and our photographs. This review will definitely NOT give Kelli the credit she deserves because she's simply THE best!!! We hired her for our engagements and our wedding pictures, and we are amazed with both. Her pictures are stunning. She is a true professional and she KNOWS weddings and how to capture all the good stuff. She captured all of our emotions from start to finish. She's a fabulous communicator, which comes in handy, especially during the family portraits! When you hire Kelli, you know you're getting the best service and product there is. It's that simple. You also know you're gaining someone who is 100% on your team, which really helps having a leader in your corner on your wedding day, because things can get hectic! She's also more than a photographer--she will quickly find a knife to cut your cake when it's cake cutting time and you notice you have no utensils! :) Hire Kelli for your photography because you will be thrilled with her photographs and relaxed on the wedding day, because you know you're in good hands. Also, her turn around time was ungodly fast, so it was fun to get our pictures back so soon to share with our family and friends! OMG. We got married a couple of weeks ago and we could not have asked for a better photography team than Kelli and her husband, Tim. First of all, her photography style is a dream and that's initially why I chose to work with her, but we got so much more! Her and Tim were so kind, super fun, easy going, ORGANIZED, flexible, upbeat, positive, and worked hard the entire 10 hours they were with us. I can't exactly put into words how much I would recommend Kelli Carrico as your wedding photographer. I found myself sending her messages way before my special day about things that didn't even relate to pictures. She was always friendly- offering advice and prospective. On my wedding day, she was a calming voice and handled many things. She made everyone comfortable while snapping the most beautiful pictures. The pictures of my wedding will be cherished for lifetimes to come. Each were taken at the perfect time and edited perfectly. I couldn't thank her enough!

Kelli is by far the best photographer in southern WV, if not the whole state!
