We are so thankful for the creative design of Blossoms and Buds. We had a destination wedding at Snowshoe, West Virginia… in the winter. Needless to say, I was concerned about what flowers to use and how they would hold up in the cold weather. Well, I am so thrilled with the beautiful bouquets and arrangements we received. After sending a few inspiration pictures I found on Pinterest, I was told that she knew exactly what I had in mind. She was right. The process, from start to finish, was painless and I could not have asked for more.

Sue did a wonderful job helping me select flowers for my wildflower look. She was great about how many flowers we would need for making our own bouquets! These flowers were absolutely beautiful!

Steve & Jerry at Winter Floral are amazing. The effort and pristine vision for design was evident in their work completed for my wedding at the Clay Center. Their vision for any event is unparalleled. They are able to work with budgets, and can design a look that will meet your budget and your vision. Steve is beyond skilled and knowledgeable, and his work is stunning. He was very responsive during the process, and willing to meet the needs and creative vision of his customers. The flowers were beyond my expectations and he is so genuine, that after setting up the flowers, he returned to his shop to get one additional detail that he knew would make the look complete! I would highly recommend using Winter Floral for your next event, especially if it’s a wedding!

Mrs. Patti is so sweet. Evergreen was recommended by Calvary UMC (the church we used). They turned out to be wonderful! They knew the church and the rules of the church and so were very helpful in knowing what was needed and how much. She took our ideas, which were probably more specific than with most people, and ran with it. The flowers were beautiful. They also recommended the wedding cake vendor, Mrs. Mary Stanley, that we used which A+ photography had recommended. Mrs. Patti took care of the cake topper and coordinated their arrival with Mrs. Mary's to make sure the cake looked perfect and that flowers were placed just right on it. I'd definitely recommend Evergreen for every occasion!

The lady who does the wedding flowers (at least for me) was SO sweet! I really enjoyed working with her. I gave her some pictures from Pinterest and she sat down and worked with me to get flowers and whatnot picked out. She called me to confirm a few weeks prior to the wedding, which was so helpful since I had planned to call her. She made my bouquet and the corsages for the mothers/grandmothers. Highly recommended, good prices comparatively. Bridal bouquet: $130ish Corsages: $25ish each? (hard to remember this stuff)

Donna at was a PRO! She helped my day go so smoothly! She knew exactly what she was doing. Not only did she plan the flowers and decorations, she planned the order of the ceremony and order of the reception! It was a total stress reliever knowing she had it all taken care of!

My wedding flowers from Pam, who runs West Farms, were gorgeous! My bouquets and centerpieces were beautiful, and she made me an absolutely stunning flower arch for the gazebo we got married in front of. We gave her minimal guidelines for this, because I had a hard time picturing/articulating what I wanted and didn't really love any flower arch/garland photos I found online. I was so excited when I saw it on my wedding day, because I knew it would be in the background for so many photos, and it was exactly how I wanted it to look! (actually, it was more beautiful than I had imagined). It's amazing that she was able to take my somewhat vague descriptions of what I wanted and deliver it exactly. Pam was also easy to work with (she responds best to text messages rather than emails, fyi, which she will also tell you), and she met with us twice before the wedding which was very helpful . She also made great suggestions for other ways we could decorate our tables and venue. She arrived on the wedding day with plenty of time to set everything up. One last thing- even though she's located in West Virginia, she is frequently at the Blacksburg, VA farmers markets in the summer. That's how we found her. So if you're in that area, you can easily meet her and take a look at her flowers there!

A++++!!!!! If it wasn't for Sally and April saving the day I wouldn't of had flowers at my wedding! They do an absolutely WONDERFUL job! I will be sure to recommend! Thanks again ladies for coming to my rescue at such short notice! --Jaimie & Chris

Shyla was absolutely one of the best wedding decisions I made! Shyla is one of the sweetest people I've ever met, and her work is incredible. She went above and beyond from the very beginning to make sure my wedding florals were exactly how I envisioned (and more). She has a heart of absolute gold & was such a breath of fresh air to work with during all of the wedding chaos. Her ability to make a venue come to life is unmatched. I can't thank Shyla enough for all she did to make my day an absolute dream!

There aren't enough words to say how WONDERFUL Designs by DJ was!! My husband and I went in not knowing anything about flowers, and she asked a few details about our ceremony... colors, theme, style of dresses... and then immediately made some wonderful suggestions while showing us some examples. She planned it out for us and the only thing I chose on my own was my bouquet, which she made exactly as I had asked for it and imagined it to be. It was beautiful! Designs by DJ also did our centerpieces, as well, which were gorgeous. My guests all stopped me to tell me how beautiful our live flowers were and what a great job our florist had done. The best part of it was how stress free it was! She planned it, ordered it, mailed whatever I needed when I didn't have time to get to the store, and she delivered them the morning of and had them waiting for us when we were ready to walk down the aisle. I would 100% recommend this business!!
