In 1989, Court Yard Catering & Specialties started as a restaurant located on Main Street in downtown Greensburg, PA.

“The majority of our customers were from the Westmoreland County Courthouse,” explained owner Rhonda Hamrock. “In our 8 years at that location, we developed a loyal following and a great reputation in foodservice with a strong emphasis on customer service.”

With the restaurants success, Gene and Rhonda expanded their services to include a local catering & outdoor concession business. Because of the quick growth of both, it was soon time to expand and relocate.

In 1997, Court Yard Catering & Specialties purchased a building in Scottdale, closer to the Hamrock’s home, and the business continued to grow. Soon they built a second facility to handle concessions in 2003.

Our business grew along with our family. We have three fabulous adult children, who over the years have helped with our family business. Two of our children will take Court Yard into the next generation of great service throughout the communities we serve in Southwestern, PA.
