Choosing Cornell Catering was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Brandon Fortenberry and Eileen Gibson + team, were very accommodating, responsive, and resourceful.

We live in Texas and had to plan our wedding remotely. We also had several events throughout campus. The team made the entire process so smooth and easy. They coordinated and thought of all the logistics to make each event perfect.

The Cornell Catering team turned discussions into a reality. The decorations and food were far beyond what we could imagine. We felt like it was a fairy tale wedding and we are very appreciate of all the work Cornell Catering did to make this happen.

Working with Cornell Catering was great! We primarily wanted great food and drink for an appropriate cost (quality and value) . With these things in mind, what we deemed secondary attributes (responsiveness, professionalism, flexibility) just seemed a given once we chose this vendor--because Cornell Catering cares! The ladies we worked with were incredibly versatile and sincere in helping us achieve a meal and drink plan that was going to work for us. The wedding packages are a great place to start (or end) your planning! We ended up going with a slightly modified wedding package II, an afternoon tea, some specialized wine for the head table and select beer and wine for an open bar, along with a few table and chairs/ decor rentals, all for ~ 100/pp including taxes and service charges. Considering that this included everything food and beverage related ( which were amazing, no end of compliments), a few accessories, and all hidden/extra charges-- I think we achieved our goals! It was so great to work with a professional caterer that alleviated any need for coordination with us on the day, freeing us to enjoy the moment!

Cornell Catering did an amazing job! They were so attentive and helpful during the planning process. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I got a number of compliments about how polite and helpful all the staff were. They made the reception run smoothly and I did not have to worry about a thing. They coordinated with my other vendors so I did not have to figure out a lot of the stressful logistical stuff on my own. I could not have been happier with Cornell Catering!

Choosing Cornell Catering for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! They were above and beyond what we imagined from them. Great attention to detail, wonderful food as always, and very flexible to last minute changes. Every member of the team was also super nice and professional. They took care of things that we overlooked on the day of.

Eileen, Margaret, and their team were fantastic. They helped us accommodate a number of unique requests and made sure everything went well on the day of the wedding. The food was great and everyone had a wonderful time.

Overall, we enjoyed working with Cornell Catering. Their first price estimate was very high, but they were great about working with us to get the most important aspects of the catering within our price range. We were a bit nervous when we found out that the banquet manager we were working with was going to be leaving the position, but the new one was just as helpful. They did a good job with the menu and the tasting was amazing. They listened to everything that we said and changed up some of the recipes to meet certain dietary restrictions. We were glad to have worked with them, especially since they had so much experience with our venue. One suggestion: keep after them if they are not returning your calls/emails. Sometimes they get very busy and lose track of things.

My husband and I both went to Cornell for our undergraduate studies and ate the dining hall food all 4 years so there wasn't ever a question of who would cater our wedding. We did not even consider any other caterers. Overall, our event coordinator was very nice, laid back, and not at all pushy, which also means she was sometimes hard to reach and not very responsive. There is also a lack of organization internally at Cornell catering because the menu we were given to choose from for our tasting was different from the menu the chef had, so our first tasting was completely wrong. However, they were very apologetic and accommodating and put together a second tasting for us for the following day.

Cornell Catering catered both our rehearsal dinner as well as reception. The food itself was excellent - but of course we chose the things we liked. During the tastings, there were definitely dishes that were not that good. The staff were very professional.
