Coriander Kitchen and Farm is located in Detroit’s historic Jefferson-Chalmers neighborhood, in the canal district. If you are looking for just the right balance of that northern Michigan feel, without the hassle of travel for you and your wedding guests, with all of the conveniences of being in the city, then you’re in the right place! Nestled between two public parks and just a stone's throw from the Detroit River, our location is perfect for the couple that is looking for a unique, relaxed atmosphere, with the absolute freshest menu options.
Our property has both indoor and outdoor spaces available. We have both a covered patio and rooftop deck, as well as a cool, retro feel to our bar and inside dining area. Not to mention, our canal side seating! Need a little more room? Consider our entire location, giving your guests ample space to move about.
With weddings from 50-200, multiple-unique spaces, and seasonal, farm fresh ingredients, Coriander is able to cater to all of your individual needs . Our catering is done completely in house, with the majority of our produce, herbs, and flowers grown right at our very own urban farm. Our menus, developed by Chef Alison, change seasonally, to provide you and your guests with only the freshest possible ingredients, grown by our farmer, Gwen. Our in house Event Coordinator and Sommelier is available to assist with any beverage needs you may have.
