We chose Consonance Music for live music during our ceremony and cocktail hour during our wedding in September 2019 and were thrilled with their service from start to finish. Working with Vasiliy was a great experience from the very first time I spoke with him after coming across Consonance Music on the Wedding Wire; he was always very friendly and made the entire process of booking and coordinating the live music as straightforward and easy as it could have been. We decided to book a piano and violin combo for the wedding ceremony and solo piano music during the cocktail hour to utilize the grand piano in the venue. Vasiliy was very accomodating for the special request or two that we had for the setlist and the music created the perfect backdrop for both the ceremony and the cocktail hour. We highly recommend Consonance Music for their easiness to work with and top-class professionalism and musical ability.

I worked with Vasiliy to plan my ceremony music for my wedding. I went with the String Trio (Violin, Viola, and Cello) and they were excellent. He was super easy to work with and flexible to changes that I made up until the week before. They played:
"Bittersweet Symphony" - The Verve
"All You Need it Love" - The Beatles
"Perfect Day" - Lou Reed
"A Thousand Years" - Christina Perri
"Canon in D" - Pachelbel

They dressed professionally as well. The only thing I would recommend is speaking with your venue prior to them coming and getting the approval for where they can set up. I wasn't a fan of where my venue placed them in the ceremony area.

We strongly recommend the string quartet from Consonance Music. Vasiliy and the string quartet performed the ceremony music for our wedding. Leading up the the event, they were very organized and always promptly replied to our questions or concerns. They supplied a helpful form for us to provide our music selections (for pre-ceremony, processional, etc.). They have a large repertoire including many classical and contemporary string arrangements, and even prepared a custom arrangement ("Melissa" by the Allman Brothers Band) for our ceremony. Their pricing was fair and their musicianship was excellent. We received many compliments on the music at the wedding. With the cost of planning a wedding, we were unsure that we could include live music in our budget. But looking back, it was one of the best choices we made and can honestly say it TRANSFORMED our ceremony. They were perfect; book them ASAP.

He is so warm, experienced and extremely professional. The the of my wedding the string quartet showed up beautifully dressed and did an amazing job with the music. What a delightful company to work with! Great follow-up, courteous and the booking agent Vasilly was just wonderfully professional and easy to work with as well an amazing value! We booked for our wedding ceremony music for 7/8/17 and we could not be happier! All of our guests were “ WOWED” by the beautiful sound of the guitarist. We picked out our musical selections and the guitarist made our garden ceremony magical! THANK YOU SO MUCH CONSONANCE MUSIC! We hope to use this company when and if we have any future events where we would like live music! My only regret is that we did not book for our cocktail hour! BOOK THIS COMPANY TODAY! Consonance Music provided a string quartet for our ceremony and pre-ceremony music. Choosing the ceremony music was actually the hardest decision that my husband and I made for our wedding. My husband is a classical music composer and was worried that any live music we hired wouldn’t be good enough, since we were planning our wedding from out of state and had to rely on recordings on the internet to make our decision. Finally, just a little over a month before the wedding, I told my husband that it was important to me to have live musicians and created a request for bids on Gigmasters.com. We listened to samples of the three bids we received, and Consonance Music was the best. They were also very reasonably priced! We decided to hire them and are so happy with the decision. Our guests complimented them and even my husband thought they were good. The bridal processional (Che gelida manina) nearly had people in tears. My only regret is that I didn’t get to hear any of the pre-ceremony music because we were taking photos in another location.
