Beautiful garden for the ceremony
The Sunken Garden is a perfect wedding ceremony venue. It's already equipped with flowers so you don't have to spend money on flowers for the ceremony. Saves money! Reasonable price.Sent on 04/03/2019

We had our ceremony at the Conservatory in the Sunken Garden, and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff was SO helpful leading up to the event, even the last minute questions were answered extremely quickly and graciously. As an example, we wanted to do communion as part of our ceremony, so they set up a table (that blended into the background pretty well, actually) and a tiny receptacle for the cups before we got there. We also had a few seats near the front for elder family members, as well as for our string trio at the back of the garden. Everything was perfect. It is such a gorgeous space with all of the flowers and plants, and it smells heavenly. They are pretty strict with their policies (timing and photography), but we were let into the space early (both for the rehearsal and the wedding) and ended up having more than enough time for photos, and were never bothered. What a stunning backdrop for photos!Sent on 03/29/2014
We could not have had a better experience - it felt tropical, looked beautiful, smelled wonderful, and overall, it was definitely the perfect venue for our winter wedding!!
This is a beautiful, well-organized, and popular location for any wedding. We highly recommend it!
I love Como. I grew up visiting the zoo and my favorite places for photography are the Sunken Garden, the Fern Room, and the Merry-Go-Round! There is also a nice overlook with pillars on a rocky cliff right outside the Conservatory. The people are nice and I've done several Como wedding fairs! I've been a part of some awesome magazine shoots for Knitter's Universe with professional models out of Chicago and they did a complete spread, you guessed it, right at Como! The location was hand picked for it's scenic backgrounds. You know you're at Como when you see the Palm Dome! If you go at the right time of day you can get a striking reflection in the pool outside.
Ahh...the magic and beauty of Como! Truly, Como delivers pristine ambience. There is no shortage of amazing places to capture fine art photography. The staff is great to work and are certain to satisfy anyone's taste. We can't wait to be there again! - www.bellagala.com | 651-227-1202 | Voted Minnesota Bride "All-Around Best Wedding Vendor"
