Active musician in two states. In Colorado he has performed with all major arts organizations including Colorado Symphony and Colorado Ballet. In the San Francisco Bay area John has held the position of Principal Trumpet in California Symphony for eighteen seasons. He also worked extensively with San Francisco Symphony including numerous national tours and recordings. Currently he plays Principal Trumpet in Modesto Symphony and in the Colorado Ballet, Second Trumpet in Symphony Silicon Valley. Also active as an educator, he taught 5th and 6th grade band part-time in Los Altos schools. He maintains an active private teaching studio in Denver Colorado.
