The Cocoa Bean is such a great place! From the cake tasting to coming up with our own personal design for the masterpiece Inga created, this bakery made it such a wonderful and fun experience when a lot of the planning can feel tedious. Than you!!

Cocoa Bean made a corquembouche for my wedding and it turned out so beautiful! The puffs were delicious with the traditional caramel crunch and spun sugar. Laura who I worked with had great communication and made sure I knew that humidity could really influence the outcome of my dessert. But the weather cooperated and it looked and tasted great!

When we found out that cocoa bean was the bakery that the venue (Cantigny Park in Wheaton, IL) used with our package, we were ecstatic. We have loved them since they first opened years ago. Before the wedding, we did a cake tasting with Nancy. We tried a variety of cakes, but ending up choosing a white cake with lemon icing in the middle! My mother in law normally hates anything lemon, but all this cake tasted like was amazing freshness, and she LOVED it. You could tell they used the BEST ingredients! My husband is a marine, so we wanted to include a small element of that into the cake, and we decided that we wanted a pure white cake with white flowers and a flag draped down one side (made of fondant and just for show). Boy, did they deliver. Not only was the cake the best that any of my guests had ever had (seriously people were raving about the cake for the entire reception), but it was absolutely STUNNING. I could not have been happier. I had complete faith in them, and it was even better than I could have imagined! We also got brunch from them for the bridal party the day of the wedding, and that was absolutely delicious as well. We always use cocoa bean for everything and will continue to, especially after the way they made my wedding so special.

Our cake was beautiful and delicious. All of the flavors we tried at the cake tasting we're amazing, making it hard to decide. Since our wedding was in August, we went with the white cake with passion fruit filling. Our guests loved it. Cocoa bean was very organized and easy yo work with.

Cocoa bean has always been a favorite of mine. I used them for my baby shower and recently for my wedding. Both cakes were beautiful and taste wonderful! I love how they have different flavors than most bakeries. I've always worked with nancy and she's always been so helpful. They are always willing to work with you on what you like or don't like. I will continue to use cocoa bean for my events!

Nancy and everyone and Cocoa Bean are absolutely amazing. While our cake was included in our reception package from Cantigny, Nancy worked with us to add the little details to make it perfect. They were able to design a cake that looked just like a picture I gave them, leaves ribbon and all. And oh the flavors. My husband and I would be there every day for a cake tasting if we could!! We aren't chocolate people (though I do highly recommend their chocolate cake) so we went with white cake with lemon custard filling and red velvet cake with cream cheese filling. It was seriously out of this world! And now I'm hungry and dreaming of cake....

We loved our cake! Our tasting was great, the cake was beautiful, and tasted AMAZING! She even gave us an option since we have a small place and not a lot of freezer room, that in a year we can contact her and she will make us a cake topper for our one year anniversary!
