I chose Coco Miyagi for hair because they were one of the only salons/hair services in the Philadelphia / South Jersey area that could accommodate my hair type (African-American, natural hair) as well as my bridal party, which included a mix of all hair types. Elyse was our stylist and she was fantastic. Very dedicated, skillful, and professional. I had a trial with her and she did a great job understanding and producing the look I was going for. And as a added bonus, the salon space (now in Cherry Hill, NJ) is BEAUTIFUL and super trendy and served as a great back drop for behind-the-scenes getting ready photos, as well as a general feeling of pampering. I highly recommend Coco Miyagi to Philly/South Jersey brides, especially for ethnically mixed bridal parties.
