Ashley and her crew were great. Even with having to reschedule from the year prior. Everyone was wonderful,friendly, and offered all the assistance needed setting up to the day of.

My Mom’s 90 Birthday Party was great. I didn’t need to do anything except pay and choose what color table cloths and centerpieces. It was my first time planning a party for over 100 people.The decorations were just perfect. There was plenty of food. The staff was wonderful, patient, very kind and attentive to our needs.

I really enjoyed working with the venue up until the end of the reception. The food was good as far as banquet food goes (some loved it, some thought it was okay). The manager was very accommodating and did almost everything that I wanted. I think it was a good value for the money. The reason I gave 3 on Professionalism and 3 on Service was being of our bar incident at the end of the evening. We were running a consumption bar and when the reception was over and we asked for our bill it was presented to us on sheets of grocery list notepad paper. I felt this was very unprofessional and that it should have been tracked more accurately. The bill was high and we weren't charged the prices that we were told and that was explained off as a price increase across the board. This was the only problem that I had with the whole experience but it left a bad taste in our mouths at the very end of the event to be wondering if we did, in fact, consume what they wrote down. I thought that aspect was unprofessional and needed to be handled differently. My party was booked months in advance so when the register broke they had plenty of notice that another party was coming.

Overall, I would recommend this venue but I would say to have your bar worked out in advance and get it in writing. We learned the hard way. I wouldn't want the same thing to dampen someone else's reception.

The Banquet Hall Manager does not return phone calls unless it is conveinient for her. At the wedding reception, she was running around frantic for no reason. She was behind my open bar at one point and was slamming beers on the bar so they would foam up because she didn't handle the stress of a lot of people. She also was very rude to some of my guests at the wedding. I would definately not recommend the Moose Lodge in Coatesville.

i do have to say that price was the best around, for the amount of people, food and rental space, chairs, tables and linens. BUT the manager never really listened to me (the bride) she wouldn't let me in to help set up my tables, yet did them half ass and didn't complete them. Then had me walk into a room with no airconditioning. We also had a problem with the dj trying to upload music, because he needed the password to the internet connection but couldn't get it because the banquet manager didn't know it apparently. THEN I heard from my husband that she had a family in my banquet a few minutes before my ceremony for a consultation, what happened to being professional? I found it SO rude!!!!! Besides her lack of care, everything else turned out ok. The help was great and helped with everything! If it wasn't for them and my second paid cordinator my wedding would have went to shit! I say if you have the money to spend, take it else where and get the attention you deserve for your big day and what you deserve (especially for the money) if not, it's a good place to save a few dollars just know you will be disappointed in some way with the banquet manager, she does NOT pay attention to detail.

I must say the STAFF is awesome, hard working, friendly, and a great help, they make the co-ordinator look good, and actually could replace her in a HEARTBEAT !The cordinator Ramona does not follow through with your directions. The day of the wedding she does what she wants with your centerpieces. She was suppose to have mirrors under our vases, and they were to be filled with water to give the elegant look we wanted. However when we showed up and asked her , her reply was " I thought it looked okay this way, and it is easier for my staff to clean up"...wow....see she already had her money, and she now didn't care ! Also 20 minutes before our ceremony she brought a couple in to do a consultation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe if she gave the details of this wedding the attention she gave those others looking to book the 1910 Ballroom while the wedding was about to start it would have been great, and she would have completed HER JOB !!!!!!!! However she was just looking for the next paycheck ! She also forgot to put our basket of "goodies" out for everyone...which was a $125.00 value...big waste of time and effort now :(..She never once appoligized for anything..she just wants the money ..thats all!
