We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about The Ivy! From the moment we toured the venue to the last dance on our wedding night, every part of our experience exceeded our expectations.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was. The ballroom, cocktail hour space, and grounds created the perfect setting for our wedding. The food and service were exceptional, and everything throughout the evening was flawless.

A huge thank you to Jordan, our wedding coordinator, who was incredible from start to finish. Throughout the planning process, she was organized, responsive, and always willing to answer our questions. On the wedding day, she made everything feel effortless. Knowing she was there coordinating every detail allowed us to relax and truly enjoy every moment. She made us feel so cared for and ensured the entire day ran seamlessly.

We also cannot thank Mike, our maître d', enough. He brought our vision to life perfectly. Walking into our reception for the first time was such an unforgettable moment because every detail had been executed beautifully. Throughout the evening, Mike made sure everything stayed on schedule and that we, our families, and our guests were taken care of. His professionalism and attention to detail were truly outstanding.

The entire team at The Ivy worked together so seamlessly, and it was obvious how much they genuinely cared about making our wedding perfect. Every vendor commented on how wonderful it was to work there, and every guest had an amazing experience.

When I set out to plan our wedding, there were two things my husband and I knew we absolutely needed: a venue that had “character” all on its own, and food that was “top-notch” while still being allergy-friendly.

So, I logged onto Facebook and started joining every bridal group I could find. I was looking for something VERY SPECIFIC, a gem, a place that had everything I was envisioning. Honestly, I didn’t think it existed.

And then came The Ivy at Ellis Preserve by Finley Catering.

What I thought didn’t exist suddenly became a reality.

My husband and I visited The Ivy just one month after it opened, and we instantly fell in love. That was it. The search was over. Just as quickly as we fell in love with each other, we fell in love with the venue.

From start to finish, Meg was responsive, caring, attentive, and professional. She understood that my husband and I have serious food allergies and never made us feel like our needs were an inconvenience or an afterthought. Meg, our event coordinator, and her husband, Mike, our maître d, went above and beyond to make our wedding day incredibly special.

Most people say their wedding day “flashed before their eyes,” but for me, that was never the case. Every moment felt like my husband and I were spinning together inside a snow globe, dancing while the entire world settled around us. And I truly believe that feeling was possible because of how well the entire team took care of us.

The staff were INCREDIBLE. Every single person we encountered was kind, helpful, attentive, and professional.

It’s been just shy of three weeks since our wedding, and our guests are STILL raving about the cocktail hour and dinner. MANY of them have told us it was, by far, the best cocktail hour they have ever experienced. And the best part? We didn’t even select any of the food upgrades!

But what meant the most to my husband and me was that we didn’t just have to hear about how amazing the food was from our guests; we got to experience it ourselves.

Meg and Mike took our allergies seriously and went above and beyond to make modifications so we could safely enjoy our wedding meal alongside everyone else. They made us feel like our allergies didn’t make us “different.” We were able to sit down, eat, celebrate, and enjoy our reception just like every other couple. That meant EVERYTHING to us.

I cannot stop raving about Finley Catering and their newest venue, The Ivy at Ellis Preserve and clearly, neither can our guests!

Throughout the entire planning process, I talked endlessly about how beautiful the venue is. It is SO elegant and beautiful on its own that it truly doesn’t need much.

In fact, I DIY’d about 95% of my wedding, and I would tell every future couple the same thing: you don’t have to go all out. Keep it simple. Let the architecture, character, and elegance of The Ivy speak for you. The “bones” of this venue are absolutely beautiful, and they create the perfect canvas for whatever vision you have.

Meg and Mike, thank you SOOOOO much for everything you did for us. Thank you for listening, caring, accommodating, anticipating our needs, and making us feel so incredibly special from the moment we walked through The Ivy’s doors to the moment our wedding day ended.

We will forever be grateful that we found our “gem” and that we got to celebrate the beginning of our marriage there.

We absolutely loved our wedding at Ellis Preserve Ballroom. The staff was absolutely incredible, the food was to die for, and the party never ended. From start to finish, our experience with the Finley Catering Staff was smooth and effortless. We loved having a venue that was extremely professional and organized. As a bride, it was as an exceptional feeling to not be stressed leading up to the wedding. I was able to feel excited and enjoy my time with my husband-to-be in advance of our big day thanks to Megan, Nikki and the Finley Catering Staff. They were truly exceptional and we received so many complements from our guests that our special day was truly the best wedding they have ever attended! The IVY venue was everything and more that we could've hoped for. We wanted a venue that felt more like a party and less like a traditional wedding venue. All our family and friends are still talking about the food weeks after. Because the venue is flooded with color and textures, you don't need to spend much on decor and flowers. We ended up not adding any extras but they surprised us the day of with the sparkler entrance which i thought was very sweet. I wish we had a little more time before cocktail hour in the suite without being charged for it but they did make up for it by giving us free range to take pictures at the cottages directly across the street.

We truly could not have asked for a better experience at The Ivy at Ellis Preserve. From the planning process through the wedding day itself, their entire team was absolutely incredible. Every detail was taken care of, and they made the whole process so much easier and less stressful for us.

As a Type A bride who chose not to hire a wedding planner, I never felt I needed one because Jordan and the Finley staff were so organized and attentive. The day ran flawlessly from start to finish. Both our parents and we had an amazing experience at Finley. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The food was delicious, and the staff was professional, organized, and attentive throughout the entire event. 5 stars!

My husband and I got married at the Ivy at Ellis Preserve on March 13th of this year, and it was quite literally the best day of our lives. Wedding planning was not a strong suite of mine but our coordinator, Megan, was so incredibly helpful along the way with every decision. She was prompt in answering my many questions and is just all around a lovely person to work with. Our Maitre D, Mike, who we worked with on final details, our rehearsal, and on the wedding day, made sure that all out details were ironed out and any last-minute questions answered. Every single staff member we interacted with went above and beyond for us, were so kind, and made the day that much more enjoyable. I cannot recommend the Ivy or the folks at Finley Catering enough. The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve was the perfect setting for Matthew and Brianna’s wedding on March 28, 2026—truly a magnificent venue in every sense. From the very beginning, our wedding planner, Jordan Grove, was exceptional—thoughtful, direct, and incredibly personable, with an instinctive understanding of Brianna’s vision from day one. Her guidance was invaluable; she offered creative, practical suggestions and was refreshingly honest, even advising us when something wasn’t worth the extra expense—every recommendation she made was spot on. On the day of the wedding, Nikki, our Maitre D’, kept everything running seamlessly from start to finish with remarkable organization, attention to detail, and professionalism, along with a wonderful combination of humor and calm that made everyone feel at ease.

The entire staff was professional, attentive, and clearly committed to making the evening flawless. The food by Finley Catering was outstanding—beautifully presented, abundant, and absolutely delicious. The cocktail hour alone was so plentiful that guests were already raving before they even entered the ballroom. With 200 guests and so many moving parts, it is remarkable that everything unfolded so effortlessly, but it truly did—not a single detail felt out of place. The space itself is stunning, and the overall experience exceeded every expectation we had. We could not have imagined a more beautiful or well-run celebration!!
