We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about The Ivy! From the moment we toured the venue to the last dance on our wedding night, every part of our experience exceeded our expectations.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was. The ballroom, cocktail hour space, and grounds created the perfect setting for our wedding. The food and service were exceptional, and everything throughout the evening was flawless.

A huge thank you to Jordan, our wedding coordinator, who was incredible from start to finish. Throughout the planning process, she was organized, responsive, and always willing to answer our questions. On the wedding day, she made everything feel effortless. Knowing she was there coordinating every detail allowed us to relax and truly enjoy every moment. She made us feel so cared for and ensured the entire day ran seamlessly.

We also cannot thank Mike, our maître d', enough. He brought our vision to life perfectly. Walking into our reception for the first time was such an unforgettable moment because every detail had been executed beautifully. Throughout the evening, Mike made sure everything stayed on schedule and that we, our families, and our guests were taken care of. His professionalism and attention to detail were truly outstanding.

The entire team at The Ivy worked together so seamlessly, and it was obvious how much they genuinely cared about making our wedding perfect. Every vendor commented on how wonderful it was to work there, and every guest had an amazing experience.

My husband and I were married at the Ivy at Ellis Preserve this month. Our wedding day went perfectly. Jordan was an incredible coordinator and made the entire process seamless. As a Type A bride who chose not to hire a wedding planner, I never felt I needed one because Jordan and the Finley staff were so organized and attentive. The day ran flawlessly from start to finish. Both our parents and we had an amazing experience at Finley. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. The food was delicious, and the staff was professional, organized, and attentive throughout the entire event. 5 stars!

Working with Meg and her team was so easy and fun. They truly do it all and made the entire process feel seamless. From planning to execution, they were organized, responsive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. You can tell they genuinely care about making your day perfect.

The food was outstanding. Our guests have not stopped talking about how great everything was, from cocktail hour to dinner and dessert. The drinks, the service, and the overall experience were top notch.

The venue itself is beautiful, and the location made it easy for everyone to attend and enjoy the weekend! Our guests had an amazing time and keep telling us how much fun they had all night.

My husband and I got married at the Ivy at Ellis Preserve on March 13th of this year, and it was quite literally the best day of our lives. Wedding planning was not a strong suite of mine but our coordinator, Megan, was so incredibly helpful along the way with every decision. She was prompt in answering my many questions and is just all around a lovely person to work with. Our Maitre D, Mike, who we worked with on final details, our rehearsal, and on the wedding day, made sure that all out details were ironed out and any last-minute questions answered. Every single staff member we interacted with went above and beyond for us, were so kind, and made the day that much more enjoyable. I cannot recommend the Ivy or the folks at Finley Catering enough. Thank you guys!!!!

The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve was the perfect setting for Matthew and Brianna’s wedding on March 28, 2026—truly a magnificent venue in every sense. From the very beginning, our wedding planner, Jordan Grove, was exceptional—thoughtful, direct, and incredibly personable, with an instinctive understanding of Brianna’s vision from day one. Her guidance was invaluable; she offered creative, practical suggestions and was refreshingly honest, even advising us when something wasn’t worth the extra expense—every recommendation she made was spot on. On the day of the wedding, Nikki, our Maitre D’, kept everything running seamlessly from start to finish with remarkable organization, attention to detail, and professionalism, along with a wonderful combination of humor and calm that made everyone feel at ease.

The entire staff was professional, attentive, and clearly committed to making the evening flawless. The food by Finley Catering was outstanding—beautifully presented, abundant, and absolutely delicious. The cocktail hour alone was so plentiful that guests were already raving before they even entered the ballroom. With 200 guests and so many moving parts, it is remarkable that everything unfolded so effortlessly, but it truly did—not a single detail felt out of place. The space itself is stunning, and the overall experience exceeded every expectation we had. We could not have imagined a more beautiful or well-run celebration!!

On top of all of that, our guests are still raving about the food — from cocktail hour to dinner, everything was absolutely amazing and exceeded expectations. The level of love, care, and professionalism shown by the entire team is something we will never forget. We truly couldn’t recommend this venue more — it made our wedding day absolutely perfect.

Thirty years ago, my husband and I attended a Finley wedding at the Ben Franklin in Center City. When our daughter was engaged in December 2024, we only went to Finley's newest wedding venue in Newtown Square, the Ivy at Ellis Preserve. Our wedding coordinator, Megan Radano and bridal attendant Kathy Barr were all this MOB needed to book our wedding here....and it truly was a day to remember! This gorgeous space fit comfortably our 250 guests while providing the most delicious food. After feasting on brisket, crab and other delights during cocktail hour, many thought that this was their main meal for the night. Dinner was delicious if you had any room left:) And, in addition to the Master Baker Cake, there was a dessert bar that included waffles and hand scooped ice cream alongside a coffee bar. All those with allergies, or not, were well taken care of by the most amazing staff. Megan, Michael our Maitre-D, Nikki, Kathy, Hailey, Bill and Ralph and every table server and bartender. We have received so many thank you's from our guests who said that this was the BEST WEDDING EVER. So grateful Finley Team for making our dream wedding come true! We love you!
And, just another perk, the two hotels within walking distance and restaurants including a Ruth Chris Steak house all provided excellent service for our guests.

Megan and Mike were AMAZING! The staff truly cares and took care of us throughout the night. The bridal attendant even found us on the dance floor multiple times to make sure we had drinks, and didn’t need anything. Absolutely the best!!!

We had our wedding reception at The Ivy and we could not have imagined a more perfect day. We chose this venue even before construction was complete, and we could not have been more thrilled with how everything turned out. The high ceilings and large windows are really a game changer, and the beautiful chandeliers create such a stunning but modern vibe. From our first tour with Megan to our actual wedding day, the Finley staff went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. The staff is like a well oiled machine. We didn't even need a wedding planner because they work so well together to make sure everything flows smoothly from start to finish. Megan was so supportive throughout the whole process, answering our questions quickly and giving us great recommendations. Mike was a phenomenal Maitre D and knew exactly what we needed even before we did. Cathy helped keep us calm and on schedule in the morning and had everything set up perfectly. Nikki was so wonderful all night and even helped bustle my dress. Hailey helped pack up all of our belongings at the end of the night and even went out of her way to help us carry them back to the hotel. Our guests could not stop raving about Chef Ralph's food. There is SO much of it and literally every single thing is delicious. Bill and his team kept guests smiling with their great bar service. We could not be more grateful to the Finley team for creating such a perfect and unforgettable night at The Ivy. We wish we could do it again and again, and there isn't one thing we would change.
