I shopped around for vendors to do my hair and that of my mom, MOH, and two bridesmaids, and had a trail done by one. I felt too overdone, over hair sprayed, over made-up, and uncomfortable with the result. I was trying to keep things simple, so I went to my regular hair stylist, Jamie Lee, at Clip Art Hair Design and asked if she could help. I was thrilled when she said that she does weddings, as she didn't appear on the vendor lists on Wedding Wire, probably because this is a small, local shop. I had a morning wedding that required Jamie to come in and open the shop extra early to get us all done, which she did. Another of the women that works there also came in to help, and they styled all 5 of us in just under two hours. Three of us had our hair washed, blow dried, and styled, and two had up-dos. Everyone was thrilled with their hair and mine looked perfectly natural, yet stayed all day and held my veil perfectly. The prices were what you would pay for normal services, not jacked up for a wedding. I would recommend this shop to any bride in the South Baltimore area. I don't know if they would travel for an event.
