Clara worked her magic and made my wedding dress fit like a glove! At first I was nervous because my dress was heavily beaded and lacey, but Clara exceeded my expectations with her alterations. The torso of my dress was too long, and Clara basically had to resew some beading back onto my dress to get the torso to be just right. I couldn’t even really notice a difference in the beading -- she is THAT detail-oriented. Also, Clara is definitely more affordable for wedding alterations than her competitors, and she even made my veil for free! Definitely would recommend, you won’t be disappointed with her.

I am originally from out of town so finding a good seamstress was proving difficult. I took a chance with Clara and am so glad I did. She was a joy to work with and took such good care of me and my dress. We met 3 times to complete the alterations and the dress fit perfectly. You can tell she really cares about her brides and making sure they are comfortable. Given the amount of work needed on my dress I thought the value was great. I took my dress and veil back to Clara for preservation and she even offered to deliver it to my house. Will be visiting her again the next time I need a dress altered and would highly recommend her.

Clara's work is nothing short of incredible!!! After bringing my wedding gown to two prominent alterations places and not feeling comfortable, I went with a co-worker's recommendation to go see Clara. The shop is small and modest, but you can feel the warmth as soon as you walk in. My dress needed a few things tweaked, along with a little weird re-shaping, and Clara fixed it PERFECTLY!! She listened carefully to all of my requests - "not too tight, I need to be able to breathe!" Her alterations were absolutely meticulous, and the dress fit perfectly and looked stunning!! My now-husband kept complimenting how amazing the dress looked on me. It was a pretty dress to start with, but Clara made it gorgeous. Thank you, Clara!!

Clara altered my wedding dress from a size 14 down to a size 4 (I bought it off the rack at a running of the brides event) - and when I told people that, they couldn't believe it! The dress fit me like a glove on my wedding day and you couldn't tell that any alterations work had been done. I was so nervous about the alterations process knowing how big the dress was, but she did an amazing job. Clara is super sweet and my go-to alterations lady from now on!

So glad I went to Clara, I had bought a knock-off dress from overseas that needed a lot of help. With the dress cost and alteration expense, I saved a lot of money and still looked like a couture magazine bride. Clara is super sweet and professional for sure, very passionate and accommodating. Clara doesn't price-gouge like so many other places when they hear "wedding." It's a lot of work to alter gowns because of lace and layers, and I gave poor Clara less than a month to alter mine. But she didn't scoff at me like other pricier places nearer to me had, she was understanding and excited to help me look my best and man did she deliver! Love you Clara!

Clara was an absolute doll and did an amazing job altering my far-too-large Ann Taylor dress that I bought for a steal sight unseen. She not only made the dress fit me like a glove, she also added cups so I could go bra-free, added boning and the most perfect bustle, and sewed on a beautiful beaded belt for a truly one-of-a-kimd gown. She also sewed in a new, heavy-duty emergency zipper after the original zipper broke at my last fitting. Clara was always so sweet and complimentary, her prices were very reasonable, and I am so glad I trusted her to make my dress MY dress.

I would highly recommend Clara for wedding dress alterations. I had a lace dress, and it required several fittings to get it just right- Clara was able to schedule my fittings around my jam-packed schedule, and turn around time was very short between fittings. She did wonderful work, changing the entire top of my dress to fit my vision and listening to what it was that I wanted. She was always friendly and professional, and gave me the fee upfront after my first fitting (no hidden fees later on due to multiple fittings!). I was very pleased with the end result, and will definitely be returning for any other alteration needs I have!
