About
Hello and welcome! I am Cindy Cerda a fun loving, creative soul, who loves people and of course I love, love, love photography. My mother was always doing something creative when I was growing up and it rubbed off on me and my sisters. I love all things creative, including making jewelry, basket weaving, glassblowing, scrapbooking, you name it I have probably done it, but photography stuck with me and it is what I love most. Other than photography my passions are family, traveling and cooking. I am a people pleaser, my desire is always to make my clients happy no matter how easy or difficult that my be. If there is a will there is almost always a way!
I am a full time photographer, this is my business and my livelyhood. Weddings are what I love most and what I focus on as my primary business. Do I photograph families and children, of course I will, however, weddings, engagements, boudoir, and all things wedding related are what I photograph most often. If you have a destination wedding I would love to be your photographer (remember I love to travel)! I look at finding beauty in everything I see. Where most people just look at their surroundings and think how pretty, I look at my surroundings and think Oh My Gosh that would make a beautiful setting for a photo shoot or I can't wait to take my client there and photograph them this way or that way!
I love my fellow photographers and will help someone starting out whenever I can! I love helping other people succeed in whatever they set out to do. Where most people consider other businesses in their profession as a threat, taking away their business, I see them as a partner. I welcome competition and believe it is healthy and helps to keep me on my toes, always motivating me to be better and finding new ways to be even more creative.
Because I want my clients wedding day to be the best it can be with the most perfect memories, I sit down with my potential clients even before they hire me to listen to what their vision for their wedding day is, if hired, I set into motion my plan to make it all happen. First I schedule a complimentary photography session with my clients so we can have an opportunity to really get to know each other and work together before their big day. Doing this helps them to feel more relaxed on their wedding day and they tend to have more fun.
Not all clients fit with certain photographers, so if I sound like your kind of photographer I would love to have you as my client and photograph one of the most important days of your life. If I feel like we are not the perfect fit I am always happy to refer you to another amazing professional wedding photographer that I feel would be a great fit for you. In the end it is about making sure the client has the best photographer for who they are.
If I can give you any advice at all it would be, even if you don't hire Cindy Cerda Photography as your photographer, please hire a seasoned professional that has studied photography, trained under other wedding photographers and worked as a wedding photographer for at least a few years. Don't hire someone who is giving you a below average price for photography, just to save a little money, because more than likely they are not a seasoned professional and you will get what you pay for, so to speak. Believe me when I say that is not something you really want to do, because you don't get a second chance with wedding photography. When I started out shooting weddings I worked under other wedding photographers for at least two years before ever taking on a wedding of my own. Ask the photographer you are thinking of hiring who they have worked with, then don't be afraid to call the photographer(s) that they name and ask what they think of the photographer you are thinking of hiring and their work. Don't place the most important day of your life in the hands of someone who has never trained under another wedding photographer. Of all the things you will pay for on your wedding day, photography is the only thing that will last long after your special day is all over, so don't base the decision of who you hire on how much you can save, base it on the photographers experience and work.
Thank you again for visiting my site. I would absolutely love to be your photographer!!
