My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Christie for our vow renewal back in June and we are so happy with our photos. Christie helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is not an easy feat for two unphotogenic people like me and my husband. For the formals, she had lots of suggestions for poses, adjustments to our posture, and backgrounds to make the photos look better, which I appreciated so much. During the ceremony and reception, she photographed everything from multiple angles - I still don't know how she managed to do it by herself. Christie was proactive about getting the shots I didn't even know I wanted, such as close-ups of my rings and bouquet. She captured everything from "getting ready" to the end-of-the-night drunk dancing. Looking at her photos feels like I'm reliving the best parts of my vow renewal all over again. I'd happily hire her again.

We hired Christie for our wedding photos, and we're so glad that we did! First and foremost, the pictures themselves came out great - high quality, beautiful on both the staged photos and the candid ones, and she got all of the groups that we had wanted to have photographed together. Secondly, she was a true professional throughout the process. She got the right people to the right places at the right times, and she got incredible photos without her presence becoming overbearing or overly-noticeable. She even went above-and-beyond in pinning my lapel, after it became apparent that nobody else knew how to do it properly. Her expertise made the wedding day far less stressful than it could have been. Highly recommend!

We had the privilege of working with Christie for our COVID-friendly backyard wedding. She was able to make it happen despite having to shoot in a house vs. the traditional wedding venue we were supposed to have it in. We absolutely love how our pictures came out! Would definitely recommend using her for your special events.

Christie was an amazing photographer. She handled the engagement photos as well as took photos at our wedding. Christie did an amazing job of making us feel comfortable and natural. She managed to capture some incredible pictures of us as well as our friends and family at the wedding. It didn't take long for us to decide on our wedding photographer. We had a few meetings with other photographers, but as soon as we met with Christie Evans the decision was made. We had certain requests and some where particular, and I felt a little to demanding, but she had no problem. Christie delivered and even more than we had hoped for. There are pics that I have no idea how she managed to get and they are superb. From funny to sentimental to silly and touching. Christie is attentive and sensitive to the needs of a to-be married couple. I appreciate that even at the most stressful times she was reassuring and on our wedding day, it was Christie that kept her cool. She even helped my mom smile for once.

My husband Darrell and I had such an unforgettable experience with Christie on our wedding day last August 2019 in Rancho Palos Verdes!!! She made all of our wedding dreams come true, and we are absolutely obsessed with all of our photos! Our family loves them so much as well. Christie was able to capture every beautiful moment of our wedding day, and now we have these wonderful memories for a lifetime. She was extremely patient from the very beginning of our day with her. She came early to our location by the beach to find the perfect backdrop for our pre-wedding photos "first look", and photos of myself and my husband while we were getting ready. We also even had some time to take pictures with our family and friends before the wedding. That was extremely important to me because we all know how hectic weddings can get with being on a strict time schedule, so it was awesome to be able to get some photos in with a fresh face and hair being perfect! Once we arrived at the venue Christie and her assistant were able to capture every perfect detail of the venue and decor, it was amazing! Throughout the ceremony and reception they were on top of every magical moment, and caught every perfect shot with our family and friends. It's like I can always relive those memories and go back to my special day through every photo; I am so grateful. Christie was there for every moment when we needed her the most, and that is extremely relieving for a bride. I didn't' have to stress and worry that something would be missed. She also made us feel very comfortable, and helped us with every pose if necessary for the portrait photos of my husband and I. We are not the best at coming up with poses, so we really appreciated her creativity and expertise. It was so easy and so much fun working with her. Christie has a sweet, kind, and positive spirit that was great to be around. She was very professional and productive, and made sure we were on time for every moment. I would highly recommend hiring Christie for your wedding day or any special moment or event that you want captured. Our beautiful photos will last a lifetime, and for that we are beyond thankful for Christie's amazing work!

Our original photographer had a family emergency and Christie stepped in to photograph our wedding less than 24 hours before. Christie took all of the shots that we requested and the photos turned out beautiful! Looking through them brings us so much joy and is truly like reliving our wedding. Christie was very professional and easy to work with. My husband doesn't care to pose for pictures and I am pretty awkward, but she still managed to capture some really great photos of us! Thanks to her organization and efficiency, we took multiple large family photos relatively painlessly after our ceremony when the temperature dropped. I definitely recommend Christie to anyone looking for a talented photographer!
