"Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." -Mark Twain
I’m Chloe and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my job because it's AWESOME! No seriously, it's true. I believe that capturing the perfect moment with a photograph is what keeps special memories alive forever, whether it’s an intimate elopement, a destination wedding on a tropical beach, or a 300-guest grand ballroom celebration. My passion is bringing back the printed photo and I do so with a dash of flare and a lot of laughter. Great photography inspires true emotions, captures fleeting moments, incites merriment, triggers tears of happiness, and means having a true talent for smart lighting and environment.
I wanna tell you a little bit about me. I am an SF native. I have freckles and a fro, hence my Twitter handle and Instagram name, frecklesnfro. Some of my favorite words: eclectic, sassy, hecka, hyphy, and supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. I LOVE the color gold and own a complete set of gold sequin shoes, a gold sequin fanny-pack, and a gold medium-format film camera. I like to wear mini-hats and my boyfriend and I live with a fat cat named Nelson who does not, in fact, like to wear mini-hats. One day I dream of living in another country some day and have my own little farm, raise a few chickens, ducks, and maybe a goat or two, shooting a culturally specific wedding such as Hindu, Cambodian, Chinese, Japanese, African, South American, etc., shooting a northwestern, outdoor, mountain/country wedding (Tahoe, Eureka, Colorado, Washington, and beyond, to some day, have my own destination wedding and of course to shoot your unique and amazing wedding!

Chloe was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. At first, when I saw her prices, my heart fell. She was our biggest expense, but I can say with full confidence, it was worth it. In all the decisions we made in planning, the one I feel most confident in is hiring Chloe as photographer. Not only were the pictures fantastic, she was great to have around for the ceremony and reception. She made us feel warm and I never got "smile fatigue." She did such great work. Everyone in the family loved her!Sent on 12/10/2018

Where do I start with Chloe Jackman Photography, and Chloe Jackman in general?! From the moment I met her bubbliness, and saw her photography skills in action at a Mexican yoga retreat five months prior to my big day, I knew she would be the perfect photographer for my upcoming wine country wedding! Chloe’s positive, professional, and ingenious approach to creating the perfect client experience is unmatched to anyone else I’ve worked with (and I would know because I’m an event planner), and it truly came to life during our wedding process.Sent on 07/31/2018
From the beginning, she took away the typical worry couples face during the wedding planning, and the plague of indecision and paralysis by analysis for what we wanted in our photos. She asked all the right detailed questions, the dynamics of our wedding party, families on both sides, our colors, locations, the shot-list for the entire day, and offered a plethora of options we could add, including a personalized blog post, second shooter, videographer, photo-booth and more! She was on top of everything, was always available to communicate when new questions or changes arose, or if we needed to clarify anything. Additionally, her outgoing, confident and free-spirited nature really made our wedding party feel comfortable in front of the camera, and she consistently remained focused and dedicated to the job throughout the entire day! We had a photobooth at the wedding, and when I realized some of the instax film I brought was the wrong size for her camera, she immediately worked her magic in a few phone calls to get a new camera brought to the wedding booth in the hills of Calistoga all within an hour before the wedding – amazing!
The photos for our wedding could not have turned out any better, and she created an enchanting re-enactment of our nuptials and day in a beautifully crafted blog post a month after the wedding. She honestly captured everything we wanted from our wedding, and then some.

I cannot speak highly enough of Chloe. I was able to work with her for years, doing my corporate events in SF; so it was a no brainer to choose her as my wedding photographer when the day came. She shot our wedding at The General's Daughter in Sonoma, May 2018. She did a beautiful job capturing all of the small details of our ceremony, our reception, and all of the personal touches we did for our custom wedding bands and ways we honored our late family members. She also was able to capture so many tender moments between my husband and I, our friends, and our families. Chloe is great at managing/corralling wedding parties, crazy large families, finding the perfect spot to capture special moments + portraits for weddings. Her energy and positive spirit makes the whole day so much fun!Sent on 07/23/2018
