I purchased my wedding dress from Chiyos in June 2018 as they were consolidating so I was able to find my dream dress at a VERY discounted price. I also did all my alterations at Chiyos. Lisa, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and personable and was quick! Highly recommended!

My first wedding dress (purchased at another bridal shop) was unwearable due to poor alternations (not done at Chiyo's). I found myself frantically searching for a new wedding gown with less than 2 weeks until my wedding. Lisa was amazing and helped me find the perfect dress with only 12 days until my wedding. She was able to complete all of the alterations in a very short amount of time, and everything worked out perfectly. The store itself is not the most glamorous, but the dresses are stunning and the staff is terrific.

I was actually suckered in to this store. My maid of honor kept telling me about this dress shop and she wanted to get her dress from there.
We got there and met Traci. Then my moh went over to the bridal dresses....um..I already have a dress I said. (my first dress was horrible and I only got it to keep people off my back)

I ended up finding a dress and fell in love with it. We never told my husband that I had another dress. He didnt know until I walked down the isle in it.

They let me make payments on the dress and also the alterations. They are an amazing group of people and do their best to make everyone in the place feel special.

I found the perfect dress at Chiyo's and everyone there was so helpful! The tailor was able to add on everything I wanted on the dress to make it unique. I am very pleased with their service and loved my dress! I recommend them to others :)

Had a WONDERful experience with this shop. I walked in, found a BEAUTIFUL dress, tried it on, fell in love with it, made a payment plan and ordered it! :D I also ordered my bridesmaid dresses here. I was not in need of alterations, my dress fit perfectly. All they did was add the bustle! The staff was professional and very helpful... I called often to check the status on my dress as well as my bridesmaids orders/dresses! :)

I cannot say enough good things about Chiyo's Bridal - they made my dreams come true with a short timeframe which is something other bridal stores could not, or were unwilling, to do.

For various reasons (poor measurements taken at a much larger and chic/elegant bridal store that did not account for my scoliosis which left me changing my mind about the dress), I was in the position of needing to gamble on 4 alterations appointments at that store or ordering a new dress just 3 months before my wedding date. I called every store in Denver that carried Maggie Sottero dresses to inquire about ordering the new dress I selected and no store could guarantee alterations could be completed within 2 weeks (the period between the dresses' guaranteed ship date and my wedding) except Chiyo's Bridal. Lisa took the time to discuss my options with me and helped me feel comfortable that she would personally help ensure the alterations were done.

Due to winter weather, the dress arrived from the designer a few dates later than planned but Lisa worked with me to schedule fitting and alteration appointments around my schedule and did a FABULOUS job altering the dress to work with my scoliosis - fitting me in for all 3 appointments within a week.

The only constructive criticism I have is that the alterations were quite expensive relative to other tailors I spoke with but since she did them so well and so quickly, it's probably worth it.

My bridesmaids and I visited a few of the 'fancy' boutiques in the Denver area, but I really couldn't find 'the dress'. I found my dream dress online and the only shop that carried it was 45 minutes from my home. I raced there and they had one left and it was perfect! The price was reasonable too. The women there were very friendly, and the seamstress finished the hem and sweetheart neckline in a very timely manner and did a great job. Is it a fancy shop? No. It is in a strip mall in Aurora next to an Asian Buffet and Bail Bond shop. But the dresses and staff inside are what matter. I am very happy I went there.

We were greeted immediately upon entering on a busy Saturday. Our sales person was very attentive and show me various styles of dress to make me beautiful on my special day. She also reviewed alteration options and time lines for me. Over all great experience.

I purchased my wedding gown at Chiyo’s Bridal and Tux and my bridesmaids did as well. I had a great experience shopping for my dress and the saleswoman was so helpful allowing me to try on a least 9 dresses until I found the perfect one! She was not at all pushy and gave me a lot of space to choose what I wanted and also offered suggestions once she understood what I was looking for. She was very knowledgeable about the inventory and told me that the price on the Alfred Angelo dress I finally chose was going up in the next week so I should buy it soon. The dress came in in a timely manner and I had no issues with it.
My bridesmaids bought their dresses at Chiyo’s and received a discount because I bought my wedding dress there too. One of my bridesmaids had an issue with the size of her dress. She knew what size she wanted to purchase but the saleswoman convinced her to purchase a bigger size. She explained that the dress cannot be exchanged once ordered and her “ribs will not shrink by the time the wedding comes.” When the dress came in it was definitely too big and the size that my bridesmaid was going to order would have been perfect. She purchased alterations for the dress at Chiyos and was not impressed with the work. The zipper was off somehow.
Chiyos has a fantastic selection of dresses, however if your dress size usually veers off the sizing charts, make sure you stick to your guns and don’t let them order a dress that you know will not fit you. I would also recommend that you go somewhere else for alterations if you need them for a wedding dress. Something so important should not be left to chance between mediocre and superior work.

This is a wonderful little shop with a great group of ladies running it. I ordered our Alfred Angelo bridesmaids dresses here and also had my wedding gown hem and bustle done by Lisa. They were so helpful in arranging to ship the dresses to my 3 out of town bridesmaids, and did a perfect job on my gown hem and bustle. Lisa and Becky were helpful getting me in and out of the dress and making recommendations on how to do the bustle. Becky helped me find the best rehearsal dinner dress there on the clearance rack, too. And when my out of town mother-in-law needed a quick hem on her outfit, they were able to get it done for her in the nick of time. I definitely recommend Chiyo's to other brides, bridesmaids, moms and even for special occasion wear.
