Chelsey was the photographer for my surprise engagement, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

First of all, I have to assume her communication is amazing because my fiancé coordinated everything with her from out of state and on a pretty tight timeline — and somehow they pulled off the perfect surprise! She is also VERY sneaky 😂 because I had absolutely no idea she was there until my fiancé pointed her out after the proposal. Some of my absolute favorite photos are actually the ones she captured before I even knew she was there. She did such an incredible job capturing all of the emotion and little moments so naturally, and I know I’ll cherish those photos forever.

Once I realized she was there, we basically got to have a whole engagement photoshoot! Chelsey immediately made both me and my fiancé, Alex, feel so comfortable. She guided us through different poses without anything feeling awkward or overly staged, and the entire experience was so much fun.

I’m also someone who can be extremely critical of myself in photos, and I really appreciated how intentional Chelsey was about taking plenty of photos from different angles and with different backdrops. She gave us so much variety, and there were SO many photos that I absolutely loved — which means a lot to me!

On top of all of that, she got our photos back to us so quickly, which was such an exciting surprise because we couldn’t wait to relive the moment and share them with our friends and family.

Overall, working with Chelsey was such an amazing experience from start to finish. I’m so grateful my fiancé found her and that she helped him pull off such a special surprise. She captured one of the happiest moments of our lives so beautifully, and we’ll treasure these photos forever. I truly cannot recommend her enough!

I recently proposed to my now fiancé in Nashville. And I needed a photographer there - but needed to take a leap of faith by trusting someone I found online.

I knew right away that I had made the right choice with Chelsey, as she was professional, attentive, and responsive from day 1.

She made it easy by setting up a few phone calls with me and she took down notes of what I really wanted/needed, and gave me tips and advice ensuring that the proposal went smoothly and the pictures would be perfect.

The day of the proposal, she was fun to hang out with, outgoing, and made the photography portion of the day fun and easy! Not only did she have an eye of where exactly to take photos, what poses to put us in, etc, but she was receptive to ideas I had as well.

The photos she took turned out beautiful, and the editing was perfect as well. And she was very timely and thorough.

And the best part is she didn't forget a favor I asked of her a long time ago - I asked if she could take a video of me proposing, while capturing the moment on camera. She had a friend with her and her friend took the video while Chelsey took photos! Her going the extra mile and capturing this moment on video was the icing on the cake after a great experience overall.

Chelsey was amazing! She was very easy to work with for the planning process leading up to the proposal. She walked me through the process step by step and provided recommendations to make the proposal even better.

Chelsey went above and beyond with the planning process leading up to and the day of the proposal. I had chosen the Chicago Botanic Garden for the proposal and she walked me through what I would need in regards to permits. She had let me know that she was actually going to be in that area prior to that date and offered to walk through the gardens with me to figure out the perfect location to propose and I was more than happy to take her up on her offer. After much discussion, walking through, and bouncing ideas off each other, we figured out the best spot and I could not have been happier. Again, this was all before the actual proposal date!

During the proposal and photoshoot that followed, Chelsey was amazing with guiding my fiancée and me on how to pose and made us feel incredibly comfortable. We went to every pre determined location for posed photos and Chelsey did not hesitate when my fiancée had more location ideas.

We were running behind with hair and makeup and she just went with it and worked with the hiccups effortlessly. She had such great photo ideas and her style is truly vibrant and joyful! I tear up at my wedding photos every time I look at them! They really captured the magic of our day so perfectly.
