Chef John's Creative Culinary Services has offerred full service catering for more than 16 years with a special emphasis for Wedding receptions, Private Parties, Birthday Celebrations, Anniversaries and more. Chef John Lewis is co owner along with long time business partner Debbie McGiffin, they specialize in Catering, Private Parties, Cooking Classes and Team Building events.

Chef John appears on WFLA's (News Channel 8, NBC) popular "Daytime Show" as the resident chef. His specialties on television are: Easy-to-Prepare Gourmet Dishes and comfort food with a twist. He has compiled more than 1,000 recipes and has cooked for more than 20 years and professionally for 17. He is self taught benefitting from associations with other professional chefs. He and Debbie have published their first cook book - "It's All About the Food".

This review is dated the day I am writing it rather than the event date because Chefs John and Debbie have been doing events for me since 1997. They never fail to deliver and they do an amazing event every time! l Each event has delighted the guests - the food is always the talk of the party with OMGs - this is wonderful being overheard as I greet and meet. The wonderful thing about John and Debbie creating my events over the years is there was never a nanosecond of worry about menus, presentation or staff. I would estimate that over the years they have done over two dozen events for me ranging from people attending from 12 to 300. They deliver the event you need and want without the hassle. They are simply fabulous professionals - fabulous people - fabulous chefs!

Chef John and Debbie did an amazing job. They were flexible in setting up the menu and everything tasted terrific. I think the kitchen was even cleaner when they left than when they arrived - don't tell my wife. The staff that they brought were very engaging with our guests and a great time was had by all. We will definitely use them again for private functions at our home.

As an Event Planner, I have contracted with Chef John's Creative Culinary Services on at least 3 different occasions. The event selections offered did not exactly include a High School Class Reunion event so I picked "graduation". It was the celebration of a 50th year, and previously a 45th year, high school graduation celebration. One was an Informal Dinner and the other was a sit down Buffet Style Breakfast. Also, I had used their services for a Corporate meeting event, which was a sit down luncheon. On all occasions, their performance was as rated above - 5 Stars! In addition, many favorable comments from many of the guest at each occasion were received about my selection for the Catering and Banquet choices I had made. I was very pleased!

We had tastings with 3 caterers, all highly recommended by friends, and Chef John blew us away. He completely understood what we wanted with the food - classic favorites like pretzels, burgers, BBQ, and mac & cheese - cooked so deliciously you never forget them... the BEST mac & cheese we've ever had. Everyone loved having such a casual, fun meal, and so many guests went out of their way to tell us how amazingly good the food was. If I ever have another event to cater, I wouldn't use anyone else.

Chef John & Debbie are AMAZING! From start to finish they were ever responsive & very patient with me. Everyone went on & on about how amazing the food was at our reception! Chef John customized our menu because we wanted to serve BBQ. He added lobster mac & cheese to the menu I requested and it was SOOOOOO good!! Everything that they made was phenomenal. Book them now you won't regret it

The menu selection for our Garden Club's recognition dinner was challenging and Chef John rose to the occasion. His preparation of local Florida faire was extraordinary, combining healthy food with memorable taste. One special favorite was his unique kale dish that drew raves reviews from our members.

Absolutely terrible customer service. If you want to be satisfied with your wedding food stay away from Chef John. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
