The first of these two, The Mecklenburg Room, offers vistas of the far off mountains and views of the nearby city square. The second of these spaces, The Queen Charlotte Ballroom, is frequently chosen to host weddings. It boasts 30-foot ceilings with hanging, crystal chandeliers as well as walls that feature expansive windows.

I knew even before I began planning our wedding that I wanted to host our reception at the Charlotte City Club. The venue embodied every aspect of the vision I had for my big day. CCC is a venue that is elegant, traditional, and accommodating. It was important for me to find a venue that could accommodate a formal platted dinner but also welcome a fun spot to entertain my guests after. The Charlotte City Club exceeded my expectations. I was a bride planning from out of town and I wanted to work with the least amount of vendors possible. The CCC provided my reception space, catering, linens and rentals. Nathan Hoffman, the event coordinator for the CCC, provided vendor referrals for everything from best hotel blocks to the DJ. He is well connected throughout Charlotte and in the event planning industry. Specifically, he had worked closely with my wedding planner, Jackie Fogartie, prior to my wedding which made communicating with him so much easier. Overall, Nathan was a great resource, genuine, and a pleasure to work with! I appreciated everything he and his team did for my family and I during the planning process and on the actual day. The Charlotte City Club hosts a lot of event but Nathan made me feel as if we were the only event they had all summer. Everything was beautifully executed and went smoothly. I wouldn't have had my wedding anywhere else! The Charlotte City Club truly made my wedding vision come to life and I will forever be grateful!

The Charlotte City Club was a fantastic venue for our wedding. Nathan Hoffman, the event coordinator, was our contact, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. He had been highly recommended and it all went so well. I have to admit that we were rather picky and changed our minds a number of times on key items. Nathan never got flustered or stressed. He was clearly a professional and knew what would and would not work. We almost went down some wrong paths, Nathan’s vast experience brought to our attention the unintended consequences of our choices, so he kept on a great path. There a few things that we wanted and Nathan figured out a way to make those work.

On the wedding day, Nathan built in time for the new bride and groom to eat in private so they were ready to greet the crowds during dinner, but they could do so refreshed and well fed. The venue itself was amazing and elegant. We shifted spots several times during the night. Nathan masterfully worked behind the scenes so as we changed rooms it all transitioned smoothly and without us having to stress over anything. Our guests were so impressed with the venue, it was so beautiful and elegant. The most amazing part was the food. All of our guests, loved, loved, loved the food. It was top chef in action with a southern favorites chicken and waffles plus dual carving station with peppered tenderloins. It would be a deep oversight to neglect to mention the crab cake appetizers… Nathan worked with the wedding planner, DJ, photographers and others to make this a memory of a lifetime. Thank you for this gift.

We had our ceremony and reception at CCC. Nathan Hoffman and his team did an AMAZING job. Everything ran smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. All our guests raved about how delicious the food was and the great service. I would highly recommend!
