Charlie did a great job photographing our June wedding in downtown Washington, along with his second, Amy. The process for hiring him was easy -- he came to a place near our house and walked us through his lengthy experience, his documentary style, and options for photo prints/books afterward. During the wedding, he got every shot and paid close attention to the unusual details that we included in our wedding. The product was great -- all the "set piece" shots and many hundreds more candid photos that were excellent. We cannot recommend him enough.

Charlie is our family wedding photographer. My husband and I asked Charlie to photograph our April 2013 wedding in Washington DC after he photographed my sister's VA/DC July 2010 wedding. Her beautiful photos perfectly captured the love and family present on her wedding day and I'm fortunate to say I benefitted from her meticulous research. Our own wedding photos, taken both at our family church in Virginia and then near the steps of the Lincoln Memorial and Potomac river, are lovely and the album he created for us is a treasured keepsake. Charlie and his associate are consummate professionals; after retiring from his long career as a photojournalist with USNews Charlie established himself as a wedding and special event photographer in the Northern VA/DC area. It was a pleasure to work with him and my husband and I give him our highest recommendation.

Charlie is absolutely amazing to work with- he is charming, funny & puts you at ease. Charlie Archambault photographed my wedding and I’m so glad he did. He is exactly what you want in a wedding photographer. He is talented, unobtrusive and always smiling. He knows how to put a bride at ease. Most importantly, he makes great photos and a lot of them. He captures every important moment and then some. I’m a photojournalist and I was very picky about who I wanted to shoot my wedding. I knew he would be perfect. And, I was right. Charlie has the experience to back up his work, too. Charlie's the best! He was so fun to work with and made everything so effortless the day of the wedding. I haven't seen the shots yet, but he was the photographer at my sister's wedding several years ago and I imagine these pictures will turn out to be just as great! I'm not the kind of person who loves getting tons of pictures taken of myself, but Charlie made the experience fun and kept things 100% stress free. Not only were things great the day of the wedding, but he was very easy to get in touch with in order to discuss details in the months, weeks, and days leading up to the event. My husband and I can’t say enough about Charlie Archambault and his work. He is far more talented than any of the other photographers we looked at for our wedding, and he doesn’t have to rely on overprocessing or other tricks in order to make his photos look beautiful. Our wedding photos are simply stunning – and our family and friends are as thrilled with them as we are. Charlie and his assistant really captured the important moments from our wedding day, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Charlie provided us with really beautiful and artistic shots -- and the quantity of them was also very impressive.

I loved working with Charlie. He is fun, easy-going, and takes beautiful pictures. He was enjoyable to work with prior to the wedding and during the wedding. We ran out of time to take pictures of the rings, so Charlie even came to my office a few days after the wedding to shoot them – and bought more flowers!
