We did not end up using Charleston Hospitality as we changed our venue to a hotel as our guest list grew, however we almost used them! They were so friendly and fun to work with. We went over many estimates and many different scenarios. We met with Chef Eric multiple times and enjoyed the tastings immensely. Next event we will contact Charleston Hospitality and in the mean time, we highly recommend them!

Eric was FANTASTIC. My husband and I planned our wedding on short notice and Eric booked us right away. He met with us for the initial the day we called him, and he set up a tasting the following week. He was very helpful throughout everything and lord knows I had a lot of questions for him! He always returned my calls and emails on the same day. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend the shrimp and grits, but all his food was so delicious. Everyone at our wedding loved it. I did not have to worry about anything on the day of my wedding, he even helped set up my wedding cake and cupcakes. His staff was very freindly and professional. They even walked out to the beach to serve us appetizers while the bridal party and I were taking pictures! I have recommended and would continue to recommend his catering services and his restaurants to anyone. He was such a pleasure to work with and I am so glad that we were able to book him for our wedding!

He is a wealth of knowledge not only in catering, but can also offer excellent recommendations for any aspect of your wedding. Eric was AMAZING during the entire process of our wedding. He was also great with our rehearsal dinner. Our guests were blown away by the food and the professionalism of the catering crew. Eric made our special day even more so. We used Charleston Hospitality Catering for our food and bar for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding. I used Charleston Hospitality Catering for my wedding as well as trolley services and I can not say enough good things about my experience with them. I worked with Chef Eric Gaffin from the very beginning on my wedding planning process and I am so happy I had him as our caterer. Eric loves what he does and it shows. He is passionate and bent over backwards to help me with anything I needed. I am so happy with how our wedding went, the food was excellent and I still have people telling me how delicious everything was. We chose to have a blend of Italian foods (for my heritage) and low country foods (for the location of the wedding) and I was so happy how the combinations of the two types of food were incorporated into our appetizers and entrees. We also used the trolley owned by Charleston Hospitality and I am very happy we chose to use that as well. We were suprised when the trolley pulled up to see banners on each side with pictures of us and our names and wedding date. This was something Eric and his team did for us as a suprise-and it was such a good one! I am so happy with everything and I hope to go to weddings in the future who used Charleston Hospitality Catering so I can eat the delicious food! Thank you for making my wedding such a success.

Chef Eric and Charleston Hospitality Catering were WONDERFUL. I'd recommend this company for more than just their terrific food; The quality of the ingredients, the staff's knowledge of the venue and the rental company's products, the coordination of our bar service and the timeliness of responses from the company exceeded our expectations.

When we were working through our initial proposal, I questioned the need for so many staff members (sous chef, utility person, event coordinator, servers, bartenders) and in the end, having that many people there made the whole day run so much smoother! The event coordinator moved the furniture at the beach house for us and set up the tables, linens, etc. When it started raining prior to the ceremony, the staff moved all of the tables and chairs inside. When it stopped raining - just before the ceremony - the staff moved tables back outside and ensured that the venue was all set up, so that we could fully utilize the event space. At the end of the night, the staff broke down all of the tables, collected table cloths and napkins and carried out the trash, taking the stress away from my family.
