  We did not end up using Charleston Hospitality as we changed our venue to a hotel as our guest list grew, however we almost used them! They were so friendly and fun to work with. We went over many estimates and many different scenarios. We met with Chef Eric multiple times and enjoyed the tastings immensely. Next event we will contact Charleston Hospitality and in the mean time, we highly recommend them!

  Eric was AMAZING during the entire process of our wedding. He was also great with our rehearsal dinner. Our guests were blown away by the food and the professionalism of the catering crew. Eric made our special day even more so. We used Charleston Hospitality Catering for our food and bar for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding. All of this was amazing and I would glady reccommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful, professional caterer.

  Eric and his catering staff go above and beyond what is required of a catering company. From planning to execution, Eric knows what he's talking about--and after the number of years he's spent in this business, this comes as no surprise. He is a wealth of knowledge not only in catering, but can also offer excellent recommendations for any aspect of your wedding. He is down-to-earth and easy to talk to, and also quick to respond to any questions. He directs his staff seamlessly on the day of your event so that no bumps or hiccups ever occur. Thanks for your hard work! Definitely recommend!!

  Eric was FANTASTIC. My husband and I planned our wedding on short notice and Eric booked us right away. He met with us for the initial the day we called him, and he set up a tasting the following week. He was very helpful throughout everything and lord knows I had a lot of questions for him! He always returned my calls and emails on the same day. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend the shrimp and grits, but all his food was so delicious. Everyone at our wedding loved it. I did not have to worry about anything on the day of my wedding, he even helped set up my wedding cake and cupcakes. His staff was very freindly and professional. They even walked out to the beach to serve us appetizers while the bridal party and I were taking pictures! I have recommended and would continue to recommend his catering services and his restaurants to anyone. He was such a pleasure to work with and I am so glad that we were able to book him for our wedding!

  I used Charleston Hospitality Catering for my wedding as well as trolley services and I can not say enough good things about my experience with them. I worked with Chef Eric Gaffin from the very beginning on my wedding planning process and I am so happy I had him as our caterer. Eric loves what he does and it shows. He is passionate and bent over backwards to help me with anything I needed. I am so happy with how our wedding went, the food was excellent and I still have people telling me how delicious everything was. We chose to have a blend of Italian foods (for my heritage) and low country foods (for the location of the wedding) and I was so happy how the combinations of the two types of food were incorporated into our appetizers and entrees. We also used the trolley owned by Charleston Hospitality and I am very happy we chose to use that as well. We were suprised when the trolley pulled up to see banners on each side with pictures of us and our names and wedding date. This was something Eric and his team did for us as a suprise-and it was such a good one! I am so happy with everything and I hope to go to weddings in the future who used Charleston Hospitality Catering so I can eat the delicious food! Thank you for making my wedding such a success.

  I have been helping with weddings at The Governor Thomas Bennett House for a few years so when we needed a caterer for my daughers wedding, the decision to use Eric and Charleston Hospitality Catering was a no-brainer. Having witnessed his style and ease on several occasions, not to mention how truly delicious the food is, I knew they would do an excellent job for us. They have the experience needed to think of all the little details. The entire staff has that exact blend of professionalism and friendliness that made our guests feel so welcome.   Chef Eric and Charleston Hospitality Catering were WONDERFUL. I'd recommend this company for more than just their terrific food; The quality of the ingredients, the staff's knowledge of the venue and the rental company's products, the coordination of our bar service and the timeliness of responses from the company exceeded our expectations.
  
  When we were working through our initial proposal, I questioned the need for so many staff members (sous chef, utility person, event coordinator, servers, bartenders) and in the end, having that many people there made the whole day run so much smoother! The event coordinator moved the furniture at the beach house for us and set up the tables, linens, etc. When it started raining prior to the ceremony, the staff moved all of the tables and chairs inside. When it stopped raining - just before the ceremony - the staff moved tables back outside and ensured that the venue was all set up, so that we could fully utilize the event space. At the end of the night, the staff broke down all of the tables, collected table cloths and napkins and carried out the trash, taking the stress away from my family.
  
  I highly recommend Chef Eric and the staff at Charleston Hospitality Catering.

  Charleston Hospitality was Amazing !
  Eric gaffin did a fantastic job and we couldn't have been happier with our evening. Numerous guests told us how much they enjoyed the dinner, appetizers and desert. They brought plenty of staff to ensure that our guests didn't have to wait for a drink served our 150 guests dinner quickly. Ridgewell's staff went out of their way to accommodate us and delivered on every promise they made - they executed perfectly our vision for what the room should look like and how the evening should flow. We were worried about effectively communicating what we wanted for the event and quickly realized that Ridgewell's staff are professionals in understanding exactly what you want. We were extremely happy with Charleston hospitality and highly recommend their services!

My daughter and her husband wanted healthier, gourmet-type food choices offered in a stations-style for 150 guests. Chef Eric prepared traditional Low Country items like shrimp and grits and pimento cheese BLT’s, as well as lighter fare like fennel soup ‘shooters’, Asian chicken noodle salad served in rocks glasses with chop sticks, and Mediterranean items. Our guests loved the food and many asked, “Who was your caterer?”

  I would highly recommend contacting Chef Eric and his team for a show-stopping buffet, seated silver service dinner or even a home-cooked meal for entertaining in the privacy of your home. He is reliable, fair priced and loves what he does. It shows each and every time in the events he produces. You won't be disappointed.

  Our daughter had her reception at Old Wide Awake Plantation in Hollywood and everything turned out wonderful! My biggest concern after the weather was the food. Most of our guests traveled from out of state and I wanted all of them to fall in love with SC. We worked closely with Eric since January and he helped us with the menu, rentals, trolley, bar and advice. We liked him so much that we also use him to cater the rehearsal buffet. We wanted southern fare and he prepared pulled pork, low country boil, corn bread,salad and coleslaw. Everything was fresh and delicious! The wedding dinner was also exceptional. especially the beef. The guests loved it and complimented us on the delicious meal. Eric was great to work with and I would highly recommend him and his staff to anyone who is looking for great food and exceptional service!

  The Owner Eric was amazing! He merged his company in the middle of my engagement and my fiance' and I didn't even notice any transition. He even took over for the sales person who was in charge of our wedding when she left the company. He was available and communication was always open. The week of my wedding he even had lunch with me to discuss final details. In the mist of dozens of Charleston Brides that week Eric really made me feel special.
  
  The servers, WOW ABOVE AND BEYOND of what I have seen from wedding servers. They were friendly and attentive and made sure tables were cleared and people were fed! There was one in particular who saw me getting overwhelmed and took whatever project I was doing (tying baby's breath to my flower girl sign?) and did it for me and did a BEAUTIFUL job. There was also a male server who came over to the island during cocktail hour with hor d'oeuvres to make sure my bridal party didn't go hungry. That kind of service was definitely amazing and way above average.
  
  Our guest's reviews of the food was equally if not more so amazing. I kept hearing over and over "This is the BEST wedding food I have ever had!" The pasta station was a hit with both the vegetarians AND
  carnivores in our clans. The shrimp and grits were definitely a delight! During one of our meetings Eric mentioned that changed his recipe a bit from our initial tasting but even my Yankee family told me how they never like grits until they tasted his. Charleston Hospitality definitely set the bar high for any weddings our guest go to for the rest of the season and helped make my wedding truly the Summer Kick-off Event!
  
  My main focus (besides marrying the love of my life) was my guest enjoyment. And they certainly
  enjoyed themselves! I can honestly say my fiance' Matthew and I would choose Charleston Hospitality again and again!

  Charleston Hospitality was fantastic! We had a small intimate wedding and they kept with our theme. It felt like we were dining in our own gourmet restaurant. The food was delicous. Everyone raved about it. Not one complaint. In fact everyone wanted seconds. Eric and his staff were hospitable, kind, polite, and professional. My parents are planning on using Charleston Hospitality for their anniversary dinner because it was such a success. Worth every penny!!
