Celicia is a woodwind instrumentalist that has performed professionally for over 20 years. She was born in New Orleans and her early career was in the U.S. Marine Corps as a musician.

For almost 10 years, she performed throughout the United States in ceremonies, concerts, and events like “Stand Up for Heroes” in New York, on the same stage as performers like Robin Williams and Bruce Springsteen, and the pre-game show for Superbowl XLI in Miami.

Afterward, she moved to Key West, Florida, and had the pleasure of performing in the Paradise Big Band, at the Waterfront Playhouse in Key West for musicals such as “Spamalot,” “Avenue Q,” and “1776,” and for other special events such as the site-specific production “Key West Reverie,” by Wendy Taucher, and sponsored by The Studios of Key West.

She is currently based in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida, and has performed as a Reed player for the St. Petersburg Opera Company in “Kiss Me Kate,” and their “Holiday Sparkle,” and at the Show Palace Dinner Theatre for “Chicago,” Shrek the Musical,” and “Elf the Musical.” You can also find her around town playing with the Ten O’Clock Big Band, and the Florida Big Band.
