Cedar was with us from almost start to finish of our wedding process. We had the most incredible experience with her for our engagement shoot. She recommended a beautiful location, and her prompts made us relax and enjoy getting our picture taken. She also did a great job with our dog, getting him to look at her (not an easy task), and taking some action shots of him and us running on the beach. It rained on our wedding day which threw a major wrench in our first-look plans, but Cedar handled it flawlessly, suggesting a new spot, and the pictures came out perfectly. Cedar and her second shooter (James) were able to capture so many moments, from the groomsmen getting ready, to the bride, bridesmaids, and family getting ready that we feel like we can relive the entire morning of the wedding day. We did our photos before the wedding at our venue and Cedar found so many creative and beautiful shots to take of us and the wedding party. She did a great job working with the weather and timing so that we didn’t feel rushed and were able to take some great photos capturing who we are as a couple and the look we were going for with our venue. Cedar again captured the big moments during the ceremony so well, getting photos from all angles with the help of the second photographer. She blended in seamlessly during our reception and took so many great candid photos from the night. Our dog Moose loved her, and she even drove him to the ceremony! We can’t thank her enough and highly recommend Cedar to any couple looking for a wonderful person and photographer!

Cedar was a phenomenal choice for our wedding day/elopement. She was communicative, organized, prompt, punctual; she is so very talented and our pictures came out beautiful, we've received so many compliments on them. She made the day super fun, made us very comfortable, and helped make our special day memorable with the best pictures. We are so happy that we found her and we cannot recommend her enough! You will not regret hiring her to capture your most special memories.

Cedar’s photography positively thrilled us. It was exciting to get back the photos and see that she did so right by us, but I was truly blown away when I got down to making a photo album, and realized that she had photographed, scene by scene and cut by cut, the story of the day. She even took pictures of the ceremony location as she walked over, such that I had a long shot, a medium shot, and a close-up. I could take my reader on the visual journey we all went on.

When I say she “did right by us,” I mean that she heard us when we said what we wanted / didn’t want (I’m the same height as my husband, but I was wearing heels and didn’t want to look taller, so she arranged all photos to effortlessly accommodate that). She also promised not to send us any bad photos (“nobody needs to see that!”), and she lived up to the promise!

We were lucky enough to be informed, shortly before our wedding date, that a fellow photographer would be coming along to gain experience (at no cost to us), and all I can say is, GET TWO PHOTOGRAPHERS! Cedar can only be in so many places at one time, and having her angles plus the other photographer’s gave me options when documenting each moment.

10/10 would recommend! Also—I don’t know what she did—but my dress looked even more luminous in the photos than it did in person!

I can't put into words how AMAZING Cedar is. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable in front of the camera while also capturing the most beautiful moments ever. From how comfortable and fun our engagement shoot was, to our conversations covering all the details of the wedding day, to having fun with her on the big day, and seeing the unreal gallery of photos she had to give us...Cedar was without a doubt one of the greatest parts of our wedding. We could not have been happier with our experience working with Cedar for our wedding’s photography. We wanted someone who knew how to photograph beach weddings because the house we booked for our wedding had a private beach, and Cedar checked all the boxes with plenty of other beach weddings featured on her Instagram. We wanted to keep the vibe pretty casual and low-key, and Cedar understood perfectly how to guide us throughout the day without any stress at all. We received the photos soon after the wedding, and we are both so happy with them. We would highly recommend booking Cedar for your own wedding!

Cedar was amazing to work with leading up to the wedding and on the day! She was flexible, professional, and so easy going. She seamlessly worked with our videographer and coordinator despite some hiccups with other vendors. She was so sweet and helpful and we felt immediately comfortable with her. She takes BEAUTIFUL photos!
