Cedar Creek is a private Club located in the heart of Cashiers, North Carolina. Originally a summer retreat built in 1938, the ease and elegance of the good life still abound here today. While Cedar Creek is big enough to handle a 250 person event, we are still small enough to work with you every step of the way in creating the destination wedding of your dreams. Whether it’s a gala with a sumptuous gourmet seated dinner or simply a romantic lakeside ceremony with champagne and strawberries, the service and personal attention of our staff will exceed your expectations.

Several options await you at Cedar Creek for a wedding reflecting your own unique style. Hold your ceremony lakeside on Arbor Point, on our new croquet court overlooking Lake Lupton, or underneath a generations-old oak on our lush, grassy lawn. Or maybe it’s just the two of you renewing your vows on the terrace - or lakeside, in the gazebo. Picture perfect moments, indeed.

Our Food and Beverage Liaison will work with you personally to create a menu tailored to you—and your budget. Their creative experience paired with your taste will design a menu you and your guests will never forget. In addition, we have an extensive offering of fine wines to complement any menu and are also happy to find that special vintage you envision at your celebration.

What about the details? Our established relationships with some of the region’s top florists, bakeries, photographers and musicians (as well as officiants, event rental companies and accommodations) also ensure that every detail of your dream destination wedding is seen through—from the first petal to the last picture. Oh, and should you desire a custom wedding gown, we can arrange for that, too.
