Reviews of Cathedral of the Incarnation

Great venue

The church is absolutely stunning. The only hard part is the times - you can get married at 2:00 or 7:00 on Saturday. However, I had a 7:00 wedding and the reception directly after in the Fleming Center (part of the church), and it worked perfectly. The reception venue holds 250 easily, and they are super flexible about vendors. Extremely tall ceilings, adjustable lighting, dance floor area, they supply two bars and kegerators, and it turned out gorgeous.

Finding the Fleming Center at the Cathedral of the Incarnation was the best thing that happened to me during wedding planning!! I had a very big reception, and finding a venue within my budget was extremely difficult. The Fleming Center was affordable, big enough for my huge family, included tables and chairs, looked great, and was so accommodating!! It checked every box on my list for a reception venue. Lindsey was great to work with!

DREAM wedding in the Cathedral and DREAM reception in the Fleming Center. Walking distance from 7 hotels making it convenient for out of town guests. Hired wedding co-ordinator, Lindsey Stamps, and was the BEST SPENT MONEY of the whole wedding. She was ON IT! HIGHLY recommend this location for wedding AND reception!!!

What is there to say about this Cathedral other then if you have not stopped by to visit, and you worship at another Parish, you MUST visit the Cathedral. It is so beautiful. This is not our home Parish but we could not imagine being married at any other place of worship. The staff is so wonderful and easy to work with. From reserving our date with Lindsey Stamps, to planning our music and ceremony with Rebecca Horton. My Uncle is a Deacon and lives out of town. The Cathedral had no problem with my Uncle marrying us and even provided a staff member to help facilitate our rehearsal. The Cathedral has a hall that you may use for your reception or for a rehearsal dinner. The cost is small and you must bring in your own caterer. We visited a wedding that held the reception at the Church and it was lovely!

Mary was great at the Cathedral. She and the women that helped during the ceremony made me feel so calm and confident that everything would go smoothly and it did.

The Cathedral was ethereal and beautiful in every sense of the word. However, we had difficulties while planning our wedding here. There were so many requirements and they didn't want to let us get married there in the first place because I'm not Catholic. So I spoke directly with a Deacon who informed me there's no issue with that and gladly agreed to marry us. On the weekend of the wedding the ladies who work at the church were helpful albeit somewhat pushy. When we exited the church after our recessional there was a scuttle between my planner who was told we went left, and the church lady who said we go right. We were told by the other lady to exit left, so that's what we did. You could just tell there was a little bit of a power struggle and they didn't appreciate having wedding planners involved in their ceremonies.

Regardless- Ryan and I were very happy with how our ceremony turned out. We made the absolute right decision by having a non-mass ceremony and it was the favorite part of the day for both of us- which I think speaks volumes.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
