Cat was the PERFECT choice for our big day. From the moment I met her, I knew she was going to do everything to help us get the best memories. She really helped us get into the spirit during our Chicago engagement session, and she made us so comfortable on the big day. Since I was getting ready at home, I wanted to make sure our photographer was someone we wanted to hang out with in our house for several hours, and now I want Cat to be my BFF :) Regarding our photos, they're better than we could have ever asked for. And she's incredibly communicative. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Cat is the best wedding photographer! From signing the contract to receiving our wedding gallery, I could not have asked for a better experience. Cat is attentive, personable, understanding, and very, very skilled at what she does! She makes posing feel natural and the sessions fun and exciting. Cat was also extremely helpful when it came to planning out the timing of the wedding, and was flexible when I made last minute changes a few days before the wedding. And the finished products are perfect!!! She provided hundreds of beautiful photos from our wedding day, and they are so much more beautiful than I expected. She captured all of the photos we asked for, and went above and beyond with the number and variety of shots that she captured. If you are getting married soon, especially in the South Bend area, I cannot recommend Cat Alkire for your wedding photographer enough!

Hiring Cat Alkire was the best decision I made for my wedding. She is not just your photographer but also your go to source for wedding questions and advice. Cat is the best person to have by your side on your big day. My husband does not like taking photos, after our amazing sunset engagement photo even he said "wow Cat made that fun". That's a win!

From the first day my husband and I met Cat at Starbucks to grab coffee and discuss our wedding day, we knew Cat was the perfect person to capture our special day. Cat truly cares for her clients and wants their wedding day to be absolutely perfect. She created a wedding timeline for us and coordinated with some of our vendors to make sure they had everything she needed. (Extra flowers for pictures, etc.) Which in turn, made everything go so smoothly. Cat was always so responsive to emails and always open to talking out any ideas or questions. COVID19 threw a wrench in our original plans, but Cat worked with us to capture our private ceremony perfectly. We had a sneak peak the next day of a few photos and she had a blog post up with even more pictures within a week! Our whole gallery of images came back within a very timely manner, too.
Once we received our wedding images we were not disappointed, we loved them ALL! All our photos turned out beautifully, we love the classic, elegant and timeless look of her photos. We look forward to working again with Cat next year for our wedding celebration. We not only had a best photographer for our wedding day but have gained a friend for life. Cat was above and beyond what I could have hoped for in a photographer for our wedding. Not only are the pictures amazing, but she was so professional, organized, and fun to be around. It poured rain the day of our wedding and she found the perfect outdoor spot for us. The photos are actually better than any I would have imagined on a sunny day. I truly cant say enough about her! Cat and Miles were absolutely amazing! From the very beginning Cat had everything under control. She took charge of the timeline for us, coordinating with all of the vendors, making sure everyone was on the same page and everything ran so smoothly the day of the wedding. All of this was much more that I was expecting to get from a photographer, and that was just a bonus. The pictures turned out beautifully!!! She captured everything very naturally, everyone felt very comfortable with her, the lighting in all of the photos is perfect. She even had several of the photos up and rolling on a slideshow for everyone to see during the reception. I would hands down recommend her to everyone!
