Caroline was a spectacular part of our vow renewal and wedding celebration! Our recommendation is that you book her immediately. Choosing our officiant was one of the most difficult parts of planning for us. That is, until we found Caroline. Some of our guests were very religious, some were atheist, some were spiritual, some were in same-sex marriages, some were divorced, and it was vital to us that every guest felt safe and seen throughout the day. A ceremony sets the tone for the rest of the celebration, and Caroline carried ours out flawlessly, despite our many niche requests. My husband and I were married in a courthouse ceremony in July 2022 and hosted our “wedding” as a “vow renewal and anniversary celebration” in July 2023 at Opal Sands Resort. We were open about the fact that we were already married, so we didn’t want to exchange our rings again, but we did have other rituals we wanted to incorporate. For example, my husband is Filipino and we knew we wanted to incorporate Filipino traditions, like the cord and veil ceremony you see in our photos. Caroline learned about the traditions with us and provided feedback about where in the ceremony they could go, how much time we should budget for them, etc. My husband and I are both “Catholic” (on paper), but are not currently active in the church. Caroline was able to recommend romantic, atypical bible passages for readings, which we never would have found. She also incorporated a specific poem we requested. She’s knowledgeable about many cultures and spiritualities, and I’m certain she’ll provide deep expertise and creative ideas, no matter your background and needs. We had so many people speak to us throughout the days and months after our celebration saying how special our ceremony was. This meant so much to us and was a testament to Caroline’s expertise, public presence, and compassion. Our virtual meetings with her were so cathartic; she dug deep and made us feel comfortable sharing some of the most personal aspects of our relationship. She’s extraordinarily skilled in her craft and is worthy of your trust for your celebration. We’re deeply grateful to her for officiating our ceremony!

We cannot say enough great things about Caroline! She helped make our ceremony so incredibly special and tailored it exactly to us. Not only is she wonderful to work with, but she is so caring and detail oriented and an incredible writer. She even helped us include a crowning ceremony in our ceremony and made it flow so smoothly and beautifully. Working with Caroline was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning! It’s never too late for a good a review! Caroline married me and my wife, Brit, back in 2016. She was super helpful with all the legal stuff and wrote a really special sermon that centered our queer community. We loved having her as part of our special day!

Rev. Caroline was an incredibly kind, funny, and calming officiant. Our wedding was supposed to be October 1st, 2022 in St. Pete but we had to postpone last minute due to Hurricane Ian. It was an incredibly chaotic time but Caroline was super communicative and reassuring and we were able to reschedule our wedding for January 2023. She wrote a heartfelt service that was exactly what we asked for and she made us both cry! Five stars for both her work, her professionalism, and her flexibility!

My husband and I had an absolutely magical wedding thanks to Caroline. She really got to know us as a couple and took our slightly campy inspo (Practical Magic) to heart and wrote such a thoughtful and loving ceremony and even told us about some witchy superstitions/rituals we could add. We ended up doing a handfasting and jumping the broom. Caroline really made out special day feel like magic!
