Jen was fantastic! Aside from her beautiful photographs, she’s such a down to earth person and willing to do whatever you need or want at your venue. Her assistant got great shots as well - great price for 2 photographers and the package she includes! Would definitely hire again!

Wow! Where do i even begin... Jen is an incredibly talented photographer. After falling in love with her photographs through her instagram, website and facebook page... I decided to reach out to her. She responded immediately via email to set up a phone convo (because I am long distance). We both chatted over our morning cup of joe and I instantly felt like we were friends. Jen made us feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. Her personality is infectious... she had my whole family laughing and having fun in no time! She took any spare minutes she had getting to know our parents, sibling and friends. She is a true artist. Her photography is so real and the colors so vibrant. She is easy to work with before, during and after the wedding. She is dedicated and truly cares about documenting every special moment of your day! Seriously best decision ever. Jen Smith preserved our wedding in a way that will make our memories clear and increasingly special to us as the years pass! She was amazing! My daughter and I knew from the morning we met her for breakfast that she was our girl! We didn't interview anyone else! Jen is easy to work with and we felt so comfortable from day 1. One of the best memories for this mother of the bride was our trip downtown Charleston to photograph my daughter for her bridal portrait! Jen took us to beautiful spots (as people waved and honked their horns) and the finished products were so gorgeous! So hard to choose our favorite! The day of the wedding she arrived at our house and quietly and unobtrusively began taking pictures of our day. Her assistant was with the guys and took great shots as well. The reception pictures were equally amazing. She has eye for detail as she quietly moves through the event. I'm so grateful that we had her talent to record our most special weekend!

We live in Ohio and reached out to Carolina Photosmith based on a recommendation from another vendor. I am so glad that we did!! Jen was amazing to work with. I had some budget changes at the last minute and she was flexible with her offerings. Jen responds quickly to e-mails and questions which is a major bonus.

She scouted out some areas for pictures and we made a few stops on the way to our venue. She was efficient and so easy to work with. She was able to capture major moments of the wedding without being intrusive.

Working with Jen was a wonderful experience and I would happily recommend her work to anyone looking for a photographer in the greater Charleston, SC area! Jen genuinely listened to what my husband and I wanted captured on camera, and absolutely made it happen. She was very flexible with us, as we did not want engagement photos, she agreed to come and take pictures for us the night before our wedding as well. She is tremendously easy to work with, and took some remarkable shots that captured the vibe of our big day (and night)! The photos are beautiful and she has been great with regard to communication, each before, during, and after our wedding day. My husband and I met with Jen at a local restaurant and felt like we were having drinks with a friend! We were looking for someone who would make us feel comfortable while documenting our wedding day and she was perfect! Very professional but yet easy going and friendly. We were very happy to have her there on that amazing day! She interacted with all the guests very well and had a second photographer working with her on the day of the wedding. The photography was absolutely beautiful! She did an amazing job! We are having so much fun reliving our wedding day through her camera lens! We couldn't have asked for anyone better!

Awesome photographer and an amazing person. Jen was flexible, responded promptly to ALL my emails which was very important considering this was a destination wedding for me. Jen met me every time I was in Charleston and even offered to walk around with me and my husband to look at pic opportunities. The day of, Jen came early, she was extremely flexible (considering it rained on my wedding day), she took all of my suggestions and request and made it all work. She made me feel super comfortable way before the wedding (and I didn't even do an engagement session).
