Carmen and Caleb were so great, and we love our wedding pictures! We did an engagement shoot with Carmen first to get to know her, and then had them both at the wedding. They were on time, easy to work with, very quick with a large group and made the day so fun. The pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend!

How do you even begin summing up Carmen and Caleb? They're quite simply, the BEST. Their photography is stunning, but beyond that, they're two of the most genuine, joyful people you'll ever meet. My husband and I are both writers who love collaborating, and we love seeing another creative couple who absolutely loves working together. From the very first meeting to our current process of designing an album, we can't speak highly enough of these two. They captured our event from start to finish, and were chock full of ideas about different venue spots and poses to try. As someone who doesn't always love formal shots, I have to say they are now some of my all-time favorite photos. All in all, from the posed to the candids, my husband and I are genuinely thrilled at the prospect of looking back on these moments for the rest of our lives.

I have been lucky enough to know Carmen and Caleb for a while. I had the privileged of having her do a Twin Pregnancy Photo Shoot for my sister and I last year! Carmen was very flexible with our tight travel schedule, and made us feel at ease during a time of high pressure on a timeline! She has helped us with other suggestions in the process, and I would recommend her to anyone, especially out-of-towners looking to wed in Charleston!

We used Carmen Ash Photography for our small, intimate wedding in Mount Pleasant, SC. Since we had family only, we chose a smaller package, so we were somewhat limited on time with a brunch immediately following. Carmen was able to direct everyone in an organized and timely manner. This allowed her to capture every picture I could have imagined without overdoing it, which I think so many wedding photographers do. Going into it I expected to hear several complaints as my husband hates taking pictures, but Carmen provided such a fun experience I did not hear one! He has actually reminded me several times to leave a review because he thought she did such a good job and had so much fun. I agree! Several of my friends have had severely over-edited pictures from their weddings using different photographers, which I think makes them seem less genuine and somewhat dated. We were incredibly happy with our final pictures, and will cherish them forever.

I highly suggest using Carmen!! You will not be disappointed!

I had the hardest time choosing a photographer, intimidated by the high prices of packages and multiple choices.
After much consideration, I realized that at the end of the day, all you have remaining are your memories and your photos, and I knew that this is not the portion of the wedding budget to skimp out on.
Just by looking at Carmen Ash website/FB pages, you can tell the high quality of each and every one of her photographs. It is apparent by simply looking at her work that this is her passion, she truly loves her job, and she is amazing at it.
