Hi, I’m Carly, from Carly Ferraco Photography, a Pittsburgh wedding photographer specializing in light, bright, timeless imagery with an editorial yet documentary feel. I’m based in Upper Saint Clair and serve couples throughout Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania.
I believe your wedding photos should feel effortless, romantic, and true to you. My style blends natural storytelling with refined direction, meaning I’ll gently guide you when needed. At the same time, I’m also always watching for the in-between moments you didn’t even realize were happening. The hand squeeze before you walk down the aisle. The quiet tear from a parent. The way your friends absolutely lose it on the dance floor.
I’m known for my clean, true-to-life editing, calm presence, and organized approach. I help build photography timelines, collaborate seamlessly with planners and vendors, and make sure your day flows beautifully. My goal is for you to feel completely taken care of — so you can be fully present while I document every meaningful detail.
Whether you’re planning a formal black-tie celebration in the city, a tented estate wedding, an intimate backyard gathering, or a meaningful elopement with just your closest family, I approach every wedding with intention and care. No matter the setting or size, your story deserves to be captured beautifully and authentically.

Picture Perfect!
The engagement photo session included with our wedding package was a perfect way to get to know Carly and her shooting style. I was nervous about posing or acting for the camera, but Carly kept both of us so natural and candid to capture our true personalities.
Carly sent us a survey in advance of our wedding that helped us think through everything we needed and allowed her to have all the details on hand the day of the wedding.
On the wedding day, we had Carly as our main photographer, her husband Mike as our videographer and Samantha Fitzhenry as our second photographer. The whole team was so easy to work with. They kept us on schedule and captured all the moments we wanted on film. At the same time though, they did not intrude on our day at all. They captured us without pulling us away from the emotions and moments of the day. By the end, they were part of the party, and we couldn’t be more thankful for that.
Her turnaround time was lightning fast! Despite the huge volume of photos to process, we had a sneak peak with hundreds of photos within the same week. We had thousands within a couple weeks, and more are still coming!
Our biggest advice besides going with Carly as your photographer is GET THE VIDEO! The video was ready within a couple weeks, and it brought both of us to tears to see and hear the day. The editing style was personal and so meaningful. We can’t wait to show Carly and Mike’s photos and videos to our kids one day.
