Hiring Rachel was truly the best decision we ever made while wedding planning! We went into the process knowing next to nothing about wedding planning and talked to several different wedding planners, but it was very clear after talking with Rachel that she was our girl! She is SO warm, supportive, light-hearted, and incredibly good at her job. We planned a destination wedding in Park City and Rachel always made us feel calm, heard, and organized even while we were planning from another state. She helped us with every detail of the wedding including invites, seating chart, negotiating costs with vendors, tracking costs and outstanding deliverables, follow up with vendors, providing us with timelines and to-do lists; she truly did it all and went above and beyond. Rachel exceeded all of our expectations and truly caters to every single bride she works with. For example, I do not make decisions easily and like to have several options to look at before making a decision. Rachel very quickly picked up on this and always came to us with several options and ideas all at different price points for us to consider when making all decisions, both big and small. She also was willing to give her honest opinion when I really felt stuck on a decision, which was huge for me! Last thing I’ll say is that Rachel never once made us feel Iike we needed to stretch or exceed our budget. She always gave us options that were in line or under our budget, made me feel good about choosing less expensive options (ex. using Minted for invites instead of hiring a vendor), and was always upfront about cost when comparing options. There are so many things to think about with wedding planning but Rachel truly made it a fun, positive, and overall enjoyable experience for both of us. Rachel felt like a friend to us throughout the entire process and I honestly miss working with her :) I could go on and on (clearly) but if you’re reading this, this is your sign to hire Rachel! Erin (and Canvas Weddings and Events) was really amazing at helping us plan our dreamy winter wedding in Park City, Utah. Being from California, it was vital to find a wedding planner who could be on site for us and knew the area and local vendors well. From the beginning Erin helped schedule venue walkthroughs for us to choose the right location, she coordinated with various vendors to get us the vision we wanted, and helped us find the best value from these vendors. The day of the wedding she was so helpful and the execution was perfect. We received so many compliments about how everything flowed so easily. Erin and her team did a great job throughout the wedding process and she was always accessible (could call, text or email ANY time or any day of the week). Erin was amazing at conflict resolution as well - we had one vendor who consistently missed deadlines and Erin handled it so well for us, ensured we had a backup plan, and made sure we had what we needed for the wedding. Lastly, Erin herself is super easy to work with because she is so kind and friendly - she feels like another bridesmaid vs. a wedding planner!

I could not speak more highly of Cydney at Canvas Events!! From the very first call we had to discuss our wedding vision, my husband and I felt completely taken care of. Cydney is amazing at her job, super knowledgeable about AZ wedding venues/vendors, incredibly efficient, flexible, kind, and so much fun to work with. She also really embraced the cultural aspects of our wedding and took the lead on traditions she wasn't familiar with with ease and grace -- we never had a moment of doubt that something would go wrong once Cydney got involved. Though I won't miss wedding planning, I'll miss working with Cydney!

I talked with 10+ wedding planners before I had the pleasure of meeting with Cydney and after 2 minutes I already knew without a doubt who would be planning my wedding. Cydney is AMAZING! I recently got married in Scottsdale and can't say enough good things. If I had to do it over again (gladly!) I wouldn't change a thing, especially working with Cydney. As a TV producer I have a lot of respect for anyone who tackles - and more importantly multi-tasks - big events. There's so many boxes to check off, things to catch, timelines to align and communication between vendors. Plus, as a first-time bride it can be hard to know all the areas to navigate. Knowing that Cydney had my back so I could ENJOY the wedding was not only the biggest relief, but the best decision we made for our wedding. I remember the weeks and days leading up and not feeling any stress - only excitement. This seemed a bit odd to me, but the credit goes to Cydney because I knew I was in good hands. She not only helped put my mind at ease for the day itself but was also incredibly helpful with questions or advice I had along the way. I couldn't be happier with my experience and am excited for future brides and grooms who get to work with her :)

It’s hard to put into words what Cydney did for us and our destination wedding in Mexico. We started planning this well over a year ago and interviewed a number of planners across the country but from the very first second we talked to Cydney we knew she was the perfect planner for us and the search was over. My husband Justin and I live a very busy life, constantly traveling due to him playing in the NFL and not much time to sit down and have long conversations about the wedding which I’m sure could probably be frustrating to a planner but Cydney never skipped a beat. Any time of the day we would text or call her with a question about the wedding she was there. If we had a random 10 minutes to get on a call she never once hesitated and would drop any and everything she was doing to help talk us through it.

I was very nervous about planning a huge destination wedding in Mexico while living in Arizona and just thinking about all the vendors I would have to find while making sure I got the best rates for my guests but Cydney did absolutely everything to make sure our wedding weekend was perfect and the prices were exactly where we wanted them to be. She not only came up with a vision but found every vendor for that vision and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. From the florist to the welcome bags, piñatas for every room, playing cards with our dogs face on them, custom cups with our logo, and even building an entire pergola for my 150 guests to sit under with twinkling lights for my reception (and that’s just to name a few things) she truly thought of it all and mind you she was basically translating for a year straight with everyone in Mexico which absolutely blew my mind because she doesn’t speak Spanish but somehow everyone understood her lol!

When you think of what you want in a wedding planner you want someone who’s going to get things done, know you’re vision but not bombard you with 1000 questions a day, be direct in asking for all the things you need but kind at the same time, you want someone who’s going to save you money in places you didn’t even think you could save money, someone with amazing taste to help bring your wedding dreams to life but most importantly you want someone who’s going to go above and beyond for you in every single aspect of your wedding to make sure the most important day of your life is absolutely perfect and I can tell you that Cydney was THAT wedding planner.

Cydney was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to create the wedding of our dreams! We had some obstacles with it being a destination wedding with multiple events but she made sure it was the magical weekend we had envisioned! Cydney and her team are as good as it gets! 10/10
