So thankful to Canterbury Strings for elevating our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour with their beautiful music. Throughout the process they were communicative and offered a wide array of classical and contemporary arrangements. We hired the Canterbury Strings Trio for our wedding church service and it was absolutely lovely. They highly skilled musicians. Kate incorporated all of our requests and the music was exactly what we were hoping for. It truly elevated our wedding ceremony.

We had Canterbury strings play for my wife and me at our wedding on May 11, 2024 and were very pleased! We primarily worked with them through our wedding planner. We greatly appreciated their communication, can-do attitude, and appropriate timetables in the run-up to the event. They already have a very broad repertoire of songs they can play, which is great to see. For our processional, my wife and I each selected songs that were not in their typical repertoire, but that was not a problem at all for Kate and her musicians. We gave them our desired songs in YouTube form, the cues for when we desired to come to the chuppah, and Canterbury made it happen. Our wedding party loved the touch of the particular processional songs being played by a string trio.

We had given Canterbury some music selections to play while guests were seated. But one group was late in arriving at the hotel. The trio was able to vamp and keep playing through that delay. They filled the time and were ready to play our requested music when all of our guests were seated. Everything they played sounded brilliant!

Book them! They were quick to respond, easy to work with, offered song choices, and performed beautifully the day of! Highly recommend!

Canterbury Strings was a pleasure to work with. We booked them prior to changing our wedding into a family micro-wedding, and they were very accommodating with the change in plans and following social distancing guidelines. Kate is very responsive, gave excellent recommendations, and they have an extensive repertoire. I hired Canterbury strings for my Saturday night wedding to play during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Leading up to the wedding, it was easy to communicate with Kate and relay exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. The music was beautiful and made the wedding elegant, fun, and a great addition to the day!

I worked with Canterbury Strings for my October 2019 wedding and had a great experience! I had a family member write a special arrangement for our ceremony and they were so great about accommodating our request. They were always very prompt, professional and kind in all of our communication. And of course, their music was beautiful and they are all so talented! We cannot say enough great things about the Canterbury Strings. From the beginning Kate was incredibly responsive and shared their repertoire and suggestions for our intimate garden ceremony. They arrived on time, were set up in a beautiful formation, and perfectly played the routine we decided on. Our ceremony was a bit non-traditional and we walked in (together) to "All You Need Is Love" and recessed to "Here Comes the Sun". They have a huge list of pieces they play, and we were drawn to the selection of Beatles love songs, and classics from the 60s and 70s. Their pricing was in line with other groups and we are extremely happy with their contribution to our important day.
