Candice C. Cusic is a wedding and family photojournalist based in Chicago. I've worked as a photojournalist for fifteen years, including eleven years at the Chicago Tribune. Unlike traditional studio photographers, I search for and capture images that go beyond the posed portrait to show not only how you look, but what you feel.

I am a graduate of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I won NCPPA's College Photographer of the Year. I am a member of the Chicago Tribune team that won the 2000 Pulitzer Prize. In 2008, my work was displayed in an exhibit titled, "Picturing the World: Carolina's Celebrated Photojournalists." My work has been published in national publications including the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, the Washington Post and Newsweek.
