Amanda and her team are amazing! My husband and I are from Southern California, but had our wedding in Foresthill in August. Several months prior we planned a trip to Sacramento to finalize our vendors. California Catering was the last tasting out of 3 and we immediately knew after meeting her and her husband and of course trying the food that they were the ones we wanted to go with. They listened to our vision and asked about our favorite foods. They made a menu that was unforgettably delicious. Even though it was a busy day, I made sure to eat all my food on my plate and even wanted seconds. Our guests still talk about how amazing the food was. Make sure to give them a call and try their food. I guarantee you won't go wrong hiring them.

Tri-tip to die for! BLT bite appetizers had everyone talking. Amazing salmon, salad, grilled asparagus...everything was perfect. This was the second time we have used California Catering and would never think of using anyone else!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Amanda! She and her team are all wonderful! The food was delicious and all my guests agreed! The crab cakes... omg. I'm in love! From start to finish, she was very easy to work with. She was very attentive with all means of contact-phone, email, and text. The highlight for me was when she went out of her way to accommodate my guests. My bartender was also my seamstress. I grabbed her for about 5 minutes to bustle my dress. I figured my guests would just have to wait, but Amanda didn't miss a beat. She jumped in and started filling the role of bartender. Wasn't at all her job, but she made it happen. And when my bartender was ready to jump back in, Amanda was quick to offer me my first drink. She's absolutely lovely and you should definitely consider California Catering Company for your event!

We were very happy with CA Catering company and Amanda the owner. We had planned to do the catering by bbq from my dad. But then he was diagnosed with diabetes and we decided not to put stress on his health. We found Amanda and she was willing to do a vegetarian dinner for us. She was nice and had much experience with vegetarian food. Our family eats meat but our friends do not. So mix rockabilly friends with redneck family and Amanda made food for everyone. We were happy and felt that the money was not too expensive. Food is always a big cost for a wedding, but Amanda was a good deal and everything tasted very good. It is nice to work with someone who does not make fun of food requests, or makes comments about how it would be better with meat. Amanda was very kind and made great food like pasta bar, salad, and warm bread with butter. I would recommend Amanda the owner of Cali catering Company to anyone who likes good food for a cheap price with nice staff.

Amanda and her team were the best! They met every need and want I had and my guests did on the day of our wedding. The food was AMAZING! I just wish we would have gotten to eaten more of it :) I highly recommend California Catering Company.

With a very, very modest budget, and realistically expecting only being able to afford hors d'oeuvres for our guests, my fiancé and I were humbly surprised and grateful that Amanda was able to accommodate us and provide recommendations comprising of a light fare buffet dinner and beverage service that was in our means.

The selections were so delicious and perfect for our garden reception setting. Amanda’s staff was very professional, even serving our wedding cake and champagne toast, included in part of their services.

Amanda (the owner) was extremely helpful and went above and beyond the duties of an average caterer.

All of our guests marveled at the taste of the entries with more than a few of them commenting, "that was the best, chicken, steak, etc., I have ever eaten". My husband's family is from the south and I was nervous about having crab cakes as one of our appetizers because his mom is very picky when it comes to southern foods (especially crab cakes). After sampling Amanda's crab cakes, she said they were the best crab cakes she had ever eaten! Which is a HUGE compliment from her.

We absolutely loved our menu! The quality was superb! We love to feast first with our eyes and the bounty was stunning! I approached the buffet table and the aroma of the array of dishes was mouth watering. Thank you Amanda and crew for your efforts in making our event unforgettable. When I found Amanda it was a month before my wedding and I was panicked because I was having a really hard time finding a caterer on my venu's prefered list within my budget. She assured me that she would take care of everything and made up a menu as close to my budget as she could. I did end up paying more than I had planned for catering, but the food was amazing and her staff was so nice to my guests (even the ones that insisted on taking numerous pictures with them.. sorry you guys!) that it was worth it. I would deffinetly use her again!
