Ashley was our lifeline. I am an unorganized, spontaneous individual who has absolutely no future in any kind of event planning. Our wedding was perfectly executed. That's because of Ashley. On our wedding day, absolutely 0% of my stress came from wondering if things would go smoothly or not. You meet her and you're instantly like "oh, she's definitely got this." Also, she does so much more than the day of management. She started taking over things about a month or so before the wedding and I can't even describe to you how much lighter I felt at that point. She made things so. much. easier. On top of being really amazing in her role, she's also just fun to have around, funny, and has really good energy. I want to have another event just so I can hang out with her again.

Working with Ashley and Calico Weddings was an absolute joy! Despite hiring Ashley to just be our Day of Coordinator, she was always available to help us throughout the planning process with any questions that we had and to provide input on key decisions we were struggling with. She put together a perfect timeline for our wedding day and was so instrumental in ensuring our day was perfect. She handled all vendor coordination and took care of absolutely everything on our wedding day - all we had to do was enjoy getting married and spending time with our guests.

She also came in huge the week of the wedding! We found ourselves looking for a last-minute photographer (long story!), and Ashley was able to reach out to her network and find us the perfect replacement with three days to go. Our day exceeded all expectations, and we cannot recommend Ashley highly enough!

If you are even slightly on the fence of hiring a planner / day-of-coordinator I am telling you to do it, do it, do it! Like most, when we started planning our wedding we had no idea exactly where to start. Our venue required us to hire a day-of-coordinator and I could not be more grateful that they did because we ended up working with Ashley at Calico. She is SO much more than “day of” coordinating. Throughout the entire year and a half planning process she had wonderful tools and outlines that I easily accessed from my phone for us to follow which helped us (and her) know where we were in the planning process and made sure we didn’t forget or leave anything out. She offered great recommendations for vendors and for basically anything I asked! As the wedding grew closer it seemed we we’re almost always in communication and Ashley was always so quick to respond! Because of COVID Ashley was quick to check in on us and make sure we were doing okay and to offer any help that she could. She is made the rehearsal go smoothly and timely and made our wedding day felt like a breeze. From setting up decorations to COVID restrictions to managing (literally) everyone and to clean up, our wedding day went off without a hitch! She was always there to check in on us and bring us snacks or a drink. We couldn’t be more grateful for Ashley and Calico and would recommend her to everyone and anyone.

I’ve worked with quite a few wedding planners and Calico is next level. They are so easy to work & communicate with. They ensure that everything is set with all vendors and their timelines weeks before so that everyone is on the same page! It’s as if any question you could ask has already been handled! They are so on top of their game and every wedding I have worked with them has gone SO smoothly. If you’re a bride, you have to use Calico Weddings. They will take such good care of you!! We were initially hesitant on hiring a day of coordinator and so unbelievably GRATEFUL we hired Calico!! Natalie was a tremendous help in coordinating all of our vendors and to make sure all the moving parts of the day lined up the way we had envisioned. Having her assistance definitely helped to eliminate the stress. Communication was great and so thankful for all their hard work in making our day flawless!
