These ladies were wonderful to work with- and completely local!
I have to admit, after the fact of shopping around they were not exactly the cheapest but they were still a good value. We bought extras, of course, and ended up only bringing 2 dozen home from almost 300 cupcakes!! People LOVED them. They were truly delicious and moist.
We did the lemon, choc-a-lot, and the "Wedding" almond. None of the flavors were too overpowering and the icing was just sweet enough. Overall, very pleased :)

We ordered cupcakes from Cakies, and they were amazing! We had the Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl and the Alluring Almond Wedding. Both were delicious, but the Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl was by far the hit of the night (there were none left at the end of the night). To help decide on the flavors, Cakies delivered several samples of the cupcakes which is a huge help. We did not use the set-up service. Lisa and Wendy delivered the cupcakes in convenient boxes to our house the night before the wedding. They were very nice to work with. There was some delay in communication with Cakies, but nothing that caused any trouble. The price was a little bit more than some other bakeries that we looked at, but the quality was better. Overall the thing that stood out the most is how great the Peanut Butter cupcakes were!
