Twila Foster made the most beautiful, delicious wedding cake I've tasted. Unlike other wedding cake companies, she priced her cake on the difficulty to make and not by the slice. She was amazing.

My wedding cake from Cakes Galore was beautiful and delicious... only problem is that she overbooked herself for the day and my cake didn't make it to the wedding site until people were already sitting down and eating dinner. At this point she had to put flowers on the cake and set it up while all the guests watched. Because it was so humid outside (that was my fault for having an outdoor wedding), we were told the icing wouldn't hold up very long, so once we had finished eating and made our way around to, oh, I don't know, maybe 3 tables, we were told we had to immediately cut the cake and serve the guests. Again, the humidity was my own fault.

As for Cakes Galore, I would recommend her to anyone with an indoor wedding or a wedding where it isn't going to be 90 degrees outside. :) Just make sure that she doesn't overbook herself and can't get your cake to your wedding on time.

Cakes Galore is a small shop, but it creates some truly delicious cakes! Their prices were reasonable, and they were pretty versatile as to the types of cakes they could make. Unfortunately they don't use fondant, so that limits things a bit, but we hate the taste of fondant anyway so it wasn't a problem! They do limit themselves to only a few cake orders per date, so its important to reserve them in advance.

Our cake came with instructions to preserve it for one year, and it actually was still pretty good! I also ended up getting a birthday cake for my mother here at a later date, which was also a big hit, they make really moist yummy cakes!

The cake was absolutely delicious! I wish I could have eaten the whole thing! Cakes Galore did a pretty good job except they didn't do the floating tiers like they promised so the platforms showed. ;(
