Fantastic rental supplies! My backyard looked like a scene right out of Hawaii.

C & M provided tables, chairs, a stage, and a popcorn maker for our wedding and reception. They were delivered when scheduled. The stage for our DJ had to be installed on a slight slope, and they did this with no problem, after first sending someone out to look at the site and take measurements. The popcorn maker was great, although we should have ordered more popcorn! They were willing to pick up everything the following Monday, and did so while we were away on our honeymoon.

C & M has been a Contra Costa staple for decades. They have a huge inventory and a pretty good website that shows many of their items. I recommend going to their website first then follow up with a visit to their site so you can examine items more closely. They have many items at their location that are not shown on their website. Employees are very helpful and can give advice to help you plan your party. I would have given them 5 stars if it weren't for the dirty folding padded white chairs that I was using inside my home for the wedding ceremony. They were probably last used on an outdoor space like a wet lawn and the chair legs sunk into the mud. Their prices are very reasonable; C & M rates were much more economical than caterer's rental rates and the pick up and delivery were on time.

Everything was great except that they were quite pricey.

We came in here to inquire about chairs, an arch and some other items for my daughter’s sweet 16 and we came to the counter to ask for prices and Simone Atondo, the sales rep was incredibly rude and told us she didn’t know the prices and that the prices were in the pamphlet. I told her I wasn’t sure what the names or the items were and she responded that she didn’t know either. At this point, this woman is acting as if we were inconveniencing her and I ask to speak with her manager. At this point she flips out and starts yelling at me and my minor daughter. She is absolutely insane! She starts throwing things around and slamming things down. Another employee comes to try and help the situation and Simone continues to yell. It was unbelievable. I end up calling the owner, Andy Chose, and he drives back to the store and before even letting me tell him how we have been treated he immediately states that he knows Simone and knows she would never act that way. We went back in the store where Simone started yelling at us once again in front of the owner. Then she has the nerve to yell at my daughter “I hope you don’t turn out like your mom!” All this in front of the owner of this business! That is crazy. I am in shock at the way we were treated and the slap in the face is Andy tells us “We’re done here, this is over with” as he escorts us out. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!
