Monika was such a pleasure to work with. She texted me ideas and pictures to get my opinion. She went above and beyond on everything. She was so flexible when we were in need of extra flowers 2 days prior to the wedding. She delivered and set everything up right on time. So blessed to have found Buttonwood Blooms

Initially I had only a vague idea of what I wanted my flowers to look like for my wedding. Monika listened attentively as well as offered her own suggestions. She has a beautiful personality and was truly a joy to work with!

About a few months before the wedding I saw a bouquet on Pinterest that I really liked and asked Monika if she would be able to do it. She said she could and when I saw it the day of I couldn't believe how beautiful it was! It was even better than the picture. The overall theme for our wedding was Downton Abbey with a little modern twist and Monika created beautiful bouquets, boutineers, corsages and arrangements that fit out theme so well.

I highly recommend Monika. She is incredibly talented and has such an eye for detail and beauty. She is incredibly knowledgeable and produces beautiful products. We got so many compliments about the beauty of our flowers.

Monika was initially contacted by my mother; her enthusiasm for the theme of our reception, her commitment to keeping the cost within our budget and her offer to be flexible with times/dates of meetings, as my husband and I work odd hours, was the reason we chose this florist after having met with two others. However, she hardly ever responded to phone calls or text messages after given a deposit. I sent her approximately 30 pictures of exactly what I was envisioning, which, initially she stated she could create without a problem. As the date of our wedding approached, she indicated that she could not execute the theme without additional fees. In total, we paid $3,500 more than what was budgeted for the flowers. Clearly, we could have chosen to go with less flowers to keep it within the budget, but Monika had assured us from the beginning that the entire project could be completed within our range. Additionally, it was too late to chose another florist at that time, as she did not return any phone calls until one week before our wedding, then blamed us for her having to order everything late. The look of the reception was an utter disappointment. It was nothing like the numerous pictures I had shown her or the 'look' we had discussed, which was especially devastating because it cost so much more than we had planned. The workers that she had setting up the venue were rude and complained a lot. I do not recommend this florist.
