Facilities and Capacity

Married couple Mary and Rich own and operate Buttercup Ranch and Creamery as a duo. They named this property after the first cow they bought as a couple. This pair emphasizes healthy and natural dining and living through sustainable agricultural practices. They invite you to make this pastoral place the setting for your wedding celebrations. You may exchange your vows next to a peaceful lake with your loved ones witnessing, surrounded by landscaped lawns and mature woodlands. You can spend your first night together as a couple near the lake in the on-site RV. This facility features climate control, beds, and a kitchenette for a comfortable overnight stay. Furthermore, you and your guests can enjoy a number of fun activities on the property. These include farm tours, canoeing, and fishing.

Services Offered

Buttercup Ranch and Creamery offers event rentals for your big day. These include an on-site event tent for a ceremony and reception, with setup and breakdown by the venue's team. Tent walls can be added for an extra fee to protect your event from inclement weather (windows and doors still allow guests to see the spectacular view). The team also offers the use of portable toilets, log seating, and a sound system. This rustic venue is open for hosting weddings from March to November. You can enjoy a magical and romantic experience in these pastoral surroundings.

A new wedding site will be available June 2023...have your wedding ceremony on an island in the lake! A gorgeous white oak two-person wide bridge for your wedding party to process to the island. Oak benches on the shore for your guests to enjoy the ceremony.
