I worked with Christine Earlenbaugh and she was honestly the best, she had great attention to detail and make sure the wedding was the wedding of my dreams and I didn’t have to worry about anything! She even had to adjust from a prior person I met with to keep within my budget with the new quote when the other lady left. It went so perfect I could not thank her and her team enough

From the very first meeting to the final farewell at the end of the night, Angie Romani was nothing short of a Godsend. Though her title may say “Catering Coordinator,” that doesn't even begin to describe the role she played in our daughter Madeline's wedding. She was our wedding coordinator, our design consultant, our logistics guru—and by the end of it all, my dear friend and wedding-day MVP.
Angie’s attention to detail was second to none. Not a single aspect of our reception was overlooked. She worked tirelessly from the moment we started planning—coordinating with All Events Rental to secure every beautiful item we needed, from the dishes and linens to the vintage sofa, stage, and the old-fashioned audio guest book. She even accompanied us to the rental showroom, spending time suggesting pieces and helping me hand-pick every single detail. Her guidance was invaluable.
She also connected us with Buehler’s talented florist team, led by Marge, who created the stunning centerpieces, bouquets, and boutonnieres that perfectly matched our vision. Angie oversaw the food and bakery tastings in Ashland, making those experiences smooth, fun, and full of delicious options.
And speaking of food—it was delicious and absolutely perfect. Even though the original chef had a medical emergency and couldn’t be there, you would never have known. Everything was executed flawlessly. The pesto chicken with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes was a huge hit and so flavorful. The summer salad with fresh berries and the Italian salad with chunks of cheeses and meats were not only beautiful but crowd favorites.
We received so many compliments from guests, from the shrimp cocktail during cocktail hour to the final desserts. The donut bar and cupcake selection were incredible. Angie’s baker, a young woman named London, with true talent, created custom cupcake flavors just for Maddie—snickerdoodle and Oreo—which weren’t even originally on the menu. And London's sweetheart cake from Buehler’s bakery was to die for. I had some the next day with the lemon cake on top, raspberry bottom, and raspberry filling—absolutely heavenly. The final cake, as my daughter said, looked exactly like the inspiration photo we gave her… and tasted even better. The French buttercream frosting? Oh my gosh—divine!
Angie coordinated our dessert bar and appetizer table with such grace, flipping each space at exactly the right moment so that nothing disrupted the flow of the evening. I even saw her, at one point, respectfully and very quietly correct one of her staff members who was about to place a food on the buffet table during a toast. That’s Angie—she understands every single detail of timing and presence. She makes sure nothing ever detracts from the bride and groom during their special moments. Her staff moved seamlessly, never interrupting a single important moment.
On the day of the wedding—and the day before—Angie was everywhere, making sure the setup was flawless. From setting every plate and tying each napkin knot just right, to coordinating the catering and bartending staff (who were kind, courteous, and completely professional), Angie ensured everything ran smoothly.
She checked in with me, with the bride, and with the groom throughout the evening, making sure we were all taken care of. Guests even commented on how present and attentive she was—not just to the couple, but to me as mother of the bride. She has a gift for this work, and I honestly don’t know how we could have pulled it off without her. Angie Romani is more than a coordinator—she’s a magician, a confidant, a calm in the storm, and now, my bestie.
We’ll miss working with her more than words can say, but we’re forever grateful for the joy, professionalism, and heart she brought to our daughter's wedding day. Thank you, Angie, from the bottom of our hearts!

Buehler's is affordable, delicious, and their staff members are SO KIND and HELPFUL. I 100% recommend choosing them. The barbecue they provide is absolutely delicious and spending time with kind vendors on your big day is SO important.

We put our wedding together very last-minute, and we never could have done it without Kayte and her catering team at Buehler's Medina River Styx. Kayte acted as more than a caterer; she was more of a wedding planner, and not only did she do an incredible job with the food, she also called several different places to secure a rental company for the tent, dance floor, tables, and chairs for us (with only two weeks to spare). She and her team helped set up the table decor before the ceremony began, and they made everything look absolutely beautiful.

As for the food itself, everyone kept raving about how good everything was! For appetizers/cocktail hour, we had a huge charcuterie board selection, vegetarian stuffed mushrooms, and cocktail meatballs. The dinner entrees were the Italian Mushroom Chicken and Oven Roasted Pork Tenderloin; both were incredibly tender and delicious (my mother-in-law, who isn't a fan of mushrooms, still loved the chicken!). The sides were mashed potatoes and provencal green beans, which were also fantastic. For dessert, we had a small wedding cake just for my husband and I to cut, and an assortment of amazing pastries for our guests. The petite lemonberry bars and the cheesecake pops were particularly good!

For how wonderful everything was, and how helpful Kayte and the caterers were throughout the entire process, we didn't spend a giant fortune. The prices are very reasonable, and you get amazing quality all around without paying a pound of flesh. I highly, highly recommend Buehler's River Styx, and Kayte for your catering needs! My wedding wouldn't have been the beautiful, stress-free, incredibly fun event that it was had it not been for them!

From staging to restroom trailer reservations to picking out your tableware to the type of flowers/cake- all in one stop! Not to mention the food is DELICIOUS!

I have used Buehlers for our 300+ wedding, many (themed) house parties and company picnics. Very talented Chefs with a flexible menu. Their food trucks are tasty and fun too!

Amy Kaylor (Director of Catering) has been AMAZING to work with - 10 stars. She makes our party dreams come true and our fond memories last forever. People love our parties and I give all the credit to Amy and her team. She has always made sure that our needs are met and if you need anything, she will do it or find it! I am truly thankful for all of the hardwork and dedication to making our parties EPIC!

Buehler’s catered our wedding dinner, cake, cupcakes, linens, and pre-wedding boxed lunches on August 2nd 2020. They were very responsive and flexible even through the pandemic. And the food was amazing! 100% recommend you schedule a tasting and see for yourself, we have no regrets!

We own a venue called White Pine Grove and have had a variety of caterers for our weddings. I just had to take the time to review Buehler's because they have provided such excellent service for us, especially with the recent challenges added due to Covid. They follow all the guidelines and restrictions which means a lot of extra work on their part, but have done it without impeding their service, professionalism or quality. The set up at 3 of our recent weddings has been very attractive and and professional. The staff is extremely courteous and professional. The food, especially the recent Prime rib from the Wooster location, was really amazing! As venue owners we are treated to food at each wedding and can really say that their food was excellent. We were very interested to see how the Prime Rib was going to be - knowing they had to travel, set up , keep everything warm and then serve - and there was still a beautiful cut of prime rib to eat, rare enough to please my husband! We were very impressed. All the sides were great. At this particular event there was not bar service but we have had Buehler's provide that and they have done a stellar job. The Ashland store has provided the alcohol, in this case beer and wine, and even let the couple sell unopened cases back. That really helps eliminate the stress of wondering how much to buy. The Ashland store also provided custom cheese cakes and a beautiful display. And Buehler's always leaves the place spotless and as venue owners we really appreciate that. Their menu is varied to meet many budgets. We highly recommend Buehler's for value and quality!

I was looking for an experienced and highly-rated caterer for my son’s wedding reception which was held at Quailcrest’s Tracey Barn in Wooster toward the end of October. Given the autumn timing, my son and I were looking for a barbeque-style menu. But, we also needed to be conscious about the vegetarian dietary restriction of my son’s fiancée’s family. We selected Buehler’s to serve as our caterer because Buehler’s was able to customize the menu to satisfy our barbecue theme while meeting the dietary needs of others. Beverly recommended barbecue pork, fair chicken, a pasta bar, and a hot chocolate and cider bar, all made on site. The side dishes complemented our entree choices, and the corn bread with apple butter and whipped honey was a sure-fire winner. Beverly Linhoss with Buehler’s had a team of employees setting up early in the morning and completely beautified the venue. She was exceptionally attentive to every call I made and completely exceeded my expectations. I told my son that, for the wedding and reception as a whole, to not expect perfection, but Buehler’s was perfect. Thank you, Beverly, and your staff for all your hard work in bringing our vision for the reception to life. You really made our day exceptional!
