DJ Bruce is an exceptional wedding DJ. He worked closely with us to execute our vision, while incorporating his experience and professionalism. DJ Bruce helped make our event special and fun for all. 10/10 recommend.

Bruce DJ’ed for our daughter’s wedding this past weekend on Orcas Island. He was on time, professional, and a pleasure to work with. His music selection was spot on and flowed beautifully. He played all the music we requested and in between, his choices were PERFECT, encouraging conversations during dinner and enticing everyone from the adorable three-year-old to the eighty-something grandmother to get out on the dance floor and have a great time. We all danced the night away. We could not have been happier with him!

Bruce Pavitt was great to provide music for our wedding. In the craziness of 2020’s pandemic we changed our wedding plans to be just us, our two witnesses and a photographer about 6 weeks prior to our wedding. Bruce happily adjusted from performing as a DJ at the reception to now playing music for the ceremony. He again easily adjusted when rain began and we moved our ceremony inside and 15 minutes prior to the event when my beautiful bride decided to take a few “first look” photos due to the rain. His flexibility in adjusting our musical needs really helped make the ceremony laid back and easy going. After the ceremony and our pictures our wedding party sat down for a delicious dinner at the New Leaf Cafe in Eastsound. Throughout our dinner we listened to an amazing variety of easy going music played that really contributed to a nice ambiance for the four of us. We asked the cafe whose playlist it was and she simply stated that “Bruce Pavitt put it together.” He was able to shine on our wedding day twice and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I searched high and low for the right DJ -wanting the music at our wedding to be energetic and fun without having a "cheesy" DJ. Bruce was so easy to work with, very responsive, and came through to succeed all of my expectations. He completely blended in at the wedding and built an amazing play list off of my suggestions. Throughout the wedding, people kept coming up to me and telling me how great the music was. And people were on the dance floor all night! Actually, after the last dance, people started chanting "one more song! one more song!" because Bruce was that good. Hire this man!!

Bruce was nothing but phenomenal. What would a wedding be without its music? Through intuition and expertise he was able to connect all of the guests at our event. I had plenty of family members come up to me and express that he was playing their favorite music. My mother danced all night, and she rarely dances. I danced to my hearts content. My husband, whom I have never danced with before our wedding, took my hand and we danced the night away. If you want to make a good investment towards your wedding day; give it something that will surely steal the hearts of the crowd and yourselves, Bruce is the DJ to hire. He is an amazing artist and creates a surreal experience through music.

Bruce assembled and delivered a brilliant Wedding Reception set of music for us in Sept 2011. Classy, innovative, full of unexpected gems and personal requests. We completely trusted Bruce's uber-deep familiarity with the past 50 years of every musical genre. Our guests packed the grassy outdoor dance floor, and we all let out a collective cry for more when the time came to turn the evening over to the frogs and and crickets. Our highest recommendation!

Bruce has a real knack for music/entertainment and made our wedding day so memorable. He has such a calming presence and made the whole process so easy and seamless!! With a destination wedding, it's important to have good communication between vendors, and Bruce was awesome. He was quick to respond and always keep the line of communication open. Bruce was incredibly friendly and easy to work with right from our first meeting. We had a pretty diverse range of tastes among our guests, from serious musicians and record geeks to people who we are, shall we say, “less musically inclined”, and everyone had an absolute blast. We can’t think of anyone we’d rather have had in charge of the music at our wedding!
