Arboretum Store

Janice and Bart were very helpful and accommodating at the Arboretum store. I have been there several times in the past and will go back for our watch and jewelry needs.

BrownLee Review

Three years ago, my boyfriend at the time surprised me by going ring shopping one summer. The first place we went to had zero customer service. I was so overwhelmed with all the choices and knew nothing about diamonds, cuts, and etc. Someone greeted us upon entering and that was it. Nobody came to help us or acknowledged us after that, so we left. BrownLee was our next and final stop. Shiela made it super easy for me to choose a ring that I loved/love to this day. She educated us on the different types and cuts of diamonds. She even gave him a really good deal on it. The customer service was so awesome that I came back last year to buy my now husbands' wedding band. I didn't think Ms. Shiela would remember me after a few years, but she did. Again, she made it an effortless experience for me and I felt confident my husband would like it. I wanted to make his ring a bit unique and decided to get a special engraving inside. Ms. Valerie helped me with that and was so sweet and patient.

When we went into the store, we didn't expect to find exactly what we wanted for such a wonderfully low price compared to other local vendors. The sales man was so warm and welcoming, and helpful too! We are so impressed, and will surely become loyal customers for life!

We bought my rings from Robin at Brownlee at the Arboretum. She has been a friend for a long time and I have always loved working with her. She is honest and has fantastic taste!

My husband designed my ring by picking out the 3 main diamond stones. Then he picked out the engagement band for the stones to go in. The owner's wife ordered the band, and then placed the three stones as well as the other 42 diamonds on all the sides of my band. The engagement band was breath-taking. She hand selected the 42 diamond stones to ensure that they matched the three main diamond stones.

STAY AWAY! They ruined my engagement

Brownlee Jewelers is without a doubt the worst experience I have had with any sort of company in my entire life. With over 2 months to spare, I brought them a diamond and agreed on a setting they rendered for me. Over the 2 months, they constantly would leave me in the dark, "systems would go down", and mess up my setting not once but twice. What was once plenty of time to spare led me to driving the day before my proposal (skipping work) to pick up my "correct" setting to find out that the setting was indeed wrong again. At that point, all my plans were in place and I was forced to propose with the wrong ring. I had to explain to her and everyone in my life that the setting was wrong and would be fixed. That leads me to today, almost a month later where they finally got the setting right and I have to force my new fiance to give up her ring for a whole day to get set. Absolutely ridiculous that a setting takes a whole day, especially after months of trying to get it right. I don't care if Brownlee Jewelers gives me a million dollars, I will never EVER do business there again. They are a disgrace to any shopping center or mall they have a store in. Zero accountability, zero customer service, and negative reliability. I could write a whole trilogy of New York Times best-seller novels with how infuriated they make me. STAY AWAY

I would recommend going to Brownlee Jewelers if you are at the end of a long road trip and need to take a massive shit otherwise stay away you can set a diamond better than they can.

Edit: To add to the story I called the next day and asked if my ring is done. They confirmed it was. When I arrived I was told it was not ready and would take 30 minutes. After an hour of waiting at the store, we finally got the ring. However, it was not a peaceful one. After weeks of trying to contact the owner through LinkedIn (Harold Rousso), we finally got to talk to him. Just like the people he employs, Harold was filled with excuses and more concerned about the bottom line than the customer. After having to barter with him, he gave us a gracious (*sarcastic) 11% refund. This is not how you do business. Harold, I recommend you read the book Winning on Purpose. The best way to build a strong business is through enriching the lives of your customers. However, this experience was less fun than getting my gallbladder removed with no anesthetic. Harold Rousso leads by example, with excuses, finger-pointing, and hiring more clowns than Barnum & Bailey. If you had a Net Promoter Score I'd give a -100. For the rest of my life, I will be vocal to everyone to stay away from Brownlee Jewelers and their crook of an owner, Harold Rousso. Thanks for ruining my proposal and having no empathy.
